Elite
Fantasy Producing Teams: These team
are the cream of the crop. You can take almost
any offensive fantasy position from these teams
and plug them in as a starter on your fantasy
squad– they’re that good.
1.
Indianapolis
Colts - Go ahead, name a position where
they aren’t exceptional? Can’t do
it can you. These guys have pro-bowlers all
over their offense.
2. Kansas
City Chiefs - A team with as many potent
weapons as Green, Holmes, and Gonzalez shouldn’t
be this bad. They still don’t have a go-to
receiver who isn’t pretending to be a
TE.
3. Denver
Broncos - Jake Plummer pulled it together
last season and is elevating everyone’s
game. We don’t need no Clinton Portis
4. Green
Bay Packers - I know, this one’s shocking,
but you can’t deny the talent at the skill
positions. Walker, Ferguson, Franks, Green,
and that one guy who wears #4.
Great Fantasy
Producing Teams: These offenses definitely
pack a wallop. Though they aren’t as good
as the group above, they definitely deserve
a second look for the talent they have.
5.
St.
Louis Rams - This team is still great but
is aging rapidly. Gone are the days of Marshall
Faulk , the Steven Jackson era begins. Bruce
and Holt are still holding strong.
6. Minnesota
Vikings - Despite the loss of Moss, the
Vikings still have Culpepper and a crop of quality
receivers to take his place. Now, if they can
only get their running game in track.
7. Seattle
Seahawks - Two words: Shaun Alexander. Arguably
the best back in the league. Darrell Jackson
has been solid but overshadowed by Alexander.
8. Philadelphia
Eagles - With Brain Westbrook emerging as
a poor mans Marshall Faulk, the Eagles have
the passer, receiver and now the runner.
Good Fantasy
Producing Teams: These offenses contain
flashes of brilliance and domination in a few
positions. There are many players to be found
here and even have the potential to take their
teams to the next level.
9. San
Diego Chargers - There’s no denying
that L.T. and Gates are the future. What the
Chargers lack is a consistent passing game.
We’ll take one more helping of Drew Brees
before we get excited.
10. New
England Patriots - The addition of Corey
Dillon really launched them as a respectable
offensive team. Brady is consistent and will
lead any receiver he throws to respectability.
11. Oakland
Raiders - In one short off-season, the Raiders
vaulted themselves into the offensive elite.
Randy Moss and Lamont Jordan help shore-up a
suspect offense.
12. Cincinnati
Bengals - I know, this looks totally weird,
yet, here they are. Chad Johnson, Rudi Johnson,
Carson Palmer, and TJ Houshmanzedah. Need I
say more?
13. New
York Jets - Fueled by Curtis Martins monster
season last year, Chad Pennington and company
are looking to put more points on the board
this year.
14.
Pittsburgh
Steelers - Despite his consistent play last
year, Big Ben’s play wasn’t all
that offensively inspiring. This year, he looks
to hook up with Hines Ward much more often.
Average Fantasy
Producing Teams: As a whole, these
offense aren’t too spectacular, but that
doesn’t mean they don’t have some
talent that will catch your attention.
15. Detroit
Lions - Without the assistance of experience,
the Lions have all the potential to leap frog
just about anyone on the list. Right now, they’ve
got some growing to do.
16. Carolina
Panthers - A healthy Carolina team is hard
to come by. On paper, they are pretty solid
at each skill position. Even without all-star
Mushin Muhammed, the Panthers get back Steve
Smith and Deshaun Foster. Not bad.
17. Houston
Texans - A young team with loads of potential
stars waiting to break through. David Carr,
Domanick Davis, and Andre Johnson anchor this
team waiting to bust out.
18. New
Orleans Saints - Sporadic Aaron Brooks can’t
keep Joe Horn and Duce Mcallister from shining.
19.
Tennessee
Titans - Salary cap has hit the Titans very
hard, especially on offense. The only respectable
player they had, Derrick Mason, bolted for the
Ravens. This year they will rely on young, untested
players.
20.
Baltimore
Ravens - No, this isn’t a type-o.
If Kyle Boller can hook-up with Derrick Mason,
the Ravens may just be an offensive threat too.
21. Atlanta
Falcons - You can never count a team with
Michael Vick out. His presence, instantly makes
all those around him better.
22.
Dallas Cowboys - Drew Bledsoe is a definite
upgrade but he still doesn’t have anyone
to throw to. Julius Jones will be the go-to
guy for the Cowboys this season.
Bad Fantasy
Producing Teams: Despite the presence
of a few good players, these offense will definitely
have there struggles.
23. Arizona
Cardinals - Something tells me that Kurt
Warner isn’t the fix in Arizona. They
still Have Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin,
but look who’s throwing to them?
24.
Buffalo
Bills - Willis Mcgahee and Lee Evans are
potential long term stars but the Bills have
bugger fish to fry, such as; is JP Losman the
answer?
25. Jacksonville
Jaguars - It’s Byron Leftwich’s
team and that’s about it. “Fragile”
Fred Taylor injured himself the other day brushing
his teeth.
26.
New
York Giants - Despite marquee names, the
Giants have had little production. If Manning
really comes into his own, they could really
do some damage.
27. Cleveland
Browns - This team added Rueben Droughns,
Braylon Edwards and Trent Dilfer this off-season.
A major up-grade but will it pay off?
28. Washington
Redskins - Clinton Portis. Yup, that’s
the list!
The Rest:
Uuuuuugggghhhhhh!
29. Chicago
Bears - Mushin Muhammed and Cedric Benson
make this team a twenty times better than last
season. Too bad they can’t do any better
than, Rex Grossman.
30. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - One more season of
Brian Griese may just kill us!
31. Miami
Dolphins - If you were Ricky Williams, would
you want to return to this team? Me neither!
32. San
Francisco 49ers - If is weren’t for
Eric Johnson last season, the 49ers would have
been #33 on this list. |
