Explanation of Pick |
| Sam Bradford | This looks clearer and clearer every day. Bulger has now been released and this is the clear option. Its too bad Bradford will have nothing to work with which will eventually lead to injuries and a short unproductive career. | | Sam Bradford | This is going to happen. They aren't going be the Texans taking Mario Williams Reggie Bush. Whether he's worth it is irrelevant. | | Sam Bradford | Its time for the Rams take their guy. This is one of the best QB classes in recent memory, and the Rams would be fools not to take advantage of their #1 pick. They should have him signed well before the draft. | | Sam Bradford | Cleveland trades up for this pick because St. Louis has no money and Cleveland surely didn't bring in Holmgren without promising an open checkbook. Holmgren has always started at new organizations by briniging in a new twirler (Favre and Hasselbeck) and they give up a second to get their man. Is Bradford really this good? He certainly looks the part and has the numbers to make one think of Matt Ryan. | | Sam Bradford | Some debate has come up about this pick, the Rams just traded Carriker and have yet to sign or even come close to signing Bradford. So it leads me to believe that this pick might actually be Suh. Ultimately, I believe Bradford is the pick, it isn't a bad pick; but I don't agree with it. Suh should be the #1 pick. | | Sam Bradford | Don't be suprised to see this guy on the IR this year because they can't protect him any better then Bulger. Good QB but I just feel they are going to pay a lot of money for a QB that will be hurt too often. | | Sam Bradford | After cutting Marc Bulger and passing on Matt Ryan & Mark Sanchez, surely there is only one option. | | Sam Bradford | Reworked top ten: though it wacks the rest of my draft...
1 steady Bradford
Though I think Suh is the best player in the draft but StL has no qb other than AJ Feeley (quack yo!). Its time. He steps into a good situation w a OL that is expensive and talented (at least Smith Bell Brown), there's worse.
originally I thought they would go w Suh, then McCoy or LeFevour in rd 2, but it seems like they are set to take Bradford here.
UPDATE COMPLETE Rds 1-7!
| | Sam Bradford | Trade or no trade Bradford goes here | | Sam Bradford | The release of long time starting QB Marc Bulger paved the way for Sam Bradford to be the #1 overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. He isn't a for sure starting quarterback yet, and his shoulder can only take so many hits until it finally gives out again, but the Rams need help everywhere, and starting at QB wouldn't hurt them anymore than how hurt they already are. |
