  1. St. Louis Rams -
This guy is a 10 year starting tackle in the Bill Parcells tradition of Jumbo Elliott. A character guy who is built like Hercules, he is a premier run blocker who with improvement of his footwork, can develop into a premier pass blocker as well. CANT MISS! The only tackle on the Dolphins roster is Julius Wilson a '07 free agent out of Alabama-Birmingham UGH! The Dolphins want offers for this pick, but I don't think they will be able to trade down. UPDATE: Signed sealed and delivered 4/22
  2. Detroit Lions -
A lot of talk about injuries he has suffered, but he almost always toughed it out and played thru them. Ever seen thighs this big on a guy? He is an absolute horse, and I believe he could develop into a Hall of Fame grade player. The Rams need help just about everywhere, can't pass on Dorsey, expect them to move Adam Carriker to defensive end. 6-11/2 297 5.12
  3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers -
Super hybrid Lb/De who was a huge leader at Virginia. 6'4" 272 phenomenal athlete with high intelligence. The Falcons have needs at many positions, so they will take the best athlete available. DE Jamaal Anderson was their first pick last year and he didn't register a sack. 6-3 272 4.75
  4. Washington Redskins -
Al Davis is always the wild card. I don't think he'll be able to resist a home run back to go with his high profile QB pick of Jamarcus Russell last year. McFadden has 4.33 speed and even threw some passes last year, could be the next Ladainian Tomlinson. Look for the Raiders to try to get a late pick for Lamont Jordan somewhere in the draft. Adding Mcfadden to Justin Fargas and Dominic Rhodes leaves Jordan the odd man out. 6-11/4 211 4.33
  5. Kansas City Chiefs -
Gholston has registered off the charts in all his offseason workouts and at the combine. He will be a top five pick. The Chiefs have an obvious need at tackle, so if this scenario plays out definitely look for them to trade down. Unless Jake Long feel to them no tackle is worth the 5 pick instead of Gholston. If they end up with Gholston look for him to play left end opposite Jared Allen, he is very very versatile. Update: The Chiefs may be resigned to the fact that they won't be able to trade out of this pick, and may have something to do with the fact that they have traded Jared Allen. 6-3 266 4.67
  6. Seattle Seahawks -
The Jets 3-4 alignment needs a true nose man. Dewayne Robertson isn't the answer. kris Jenkins has not been able to stay on the field which is why Carolina traded him. Ellis projects as the 3-4 tackle they need. Not many DT's can move like this guy. He lost 20 pounds between the combine and his pro day. 6-01/2 309 5.23
  7. Cleveland Browns -
Fastest riser in the draft. Senior bowl MVP. Tests off the charts. Only question is overall lack of competition at Tenn St. Talent wins out, the Pats must address their secondary, they lost huge names and only replaced them with bargain basement guys. Cromartie is not a physical tackler, but he is the premier cover guy in the draft. He has one kidney and will need to sign an NFL waiver form to play. 6-11/2 184 4.33
  8. Oakland Raiders -
Steve McNair has retired and Boller is definitely not the answer. They are lucky if this scenario that Ryan is available and will RUN to the podium with the pick if this comes about. If Ryan is gone look for the Ravens to take a tackle like Ryan Clady to replace Jonathan Ogden. 6-43/4 228 4.92
  9. Buffalo Bills -
Harvey adds a premier pass rushing DE to replace Justin Smith who went to the 49ers. The three De's currently on the Bengals roster are very average players. He is a pure speed rusher. The Bengals pick screams defense, they were abysmal on D last season. 6-45/8 271 4.83
  10. Seattle Seahawks -
Troy State has produced premier talent like Demarcus Ware and Osi Umenyiora, Mckelvin will be the next great one. He has great returner potential and even though the Saints signed Randall Gay, they still have a great need at cornerback. Mike Mckenzie is 31 and remember Jason David being unable to cover no one last year. 5-101/4 190 4.38
  11. Jacksonville Jaguars -
Many people think the will go WR at this point. There is no big receiver worthy of the #11 pick at this point. They could be a team looking to trade down. At 11 the best value would be Jenkins, a corner with good size and great athletic ability. The most physical corner in the draft, replaces Jabari Greer, who is undersized at 5'8" and is better suited to a nickel role. 5-101/4 197 4.40
  12. Miami Dolphins -
The perfect complement to Brandon Marshall's size is the speed of Desean Jackson. Unlike the Bills who are looking size, The Broncos need a speedster to replace Javon Walker. Jackson has been working with Jerry Rice in the last few months. 5-93/4 169 4.35
  13. San Francisco 49ers -
Clady is second best tackle available. Can't miss prospect who will gore you in the run game. The Panthers don't know how long Jordan gross will be with them. Clady will start at least by next season. they may have to trade up a couple spots to get him. 6-61/8 309 5.20
  14. Denver Broncos -
A lot of people don't remember that before last season, Brohm was thought of as a number 1 overall possibility. The Bears QB sorrows have been well documented. He seems like a good fit. Another good possibility for a trade down I believe the Bears want Brohm but he should be available later in the round. I don't think he will be there when they pick in the second (Miami @ 32). Many teams would like to get Chris Williams ahead of Houston or Detroit. Don't forget Dan Marino had a shaky senior season which dropped his draft status to #28, look how that worked out. In this scenario I have the Bears trading down to #23 with the Steelers. 6-27/8 230 4.69
  15. New York Giants -
Side to side great moving LB a perfect fit for a Tampa-2 D if he falls this far. Marinelli is completely reshaping his defense. Other than Ernie Sims the Lions only have a bunch of bodys at LB, losing Boss Bailey to free agency. Rivers wowed people at USC's pro day with a huge vertical leap. 6-21/4 241 4.54
  16. San Francisco 49ers -
Edgerrin James is on the back end of his career and J.J.Arrington has been a bust so far. Mendenhall could be the most complete back in the draft. If Chicago doesn't take him look for the Cardinals to snap him up. 5-105/8 225 4.45
  Picks 1-16 | 17-32 | 33-48 | 49-64 | 65-98 | 99-131 | 132-169 | 170-207 | 208-255
