1. Mark Ingram, RB, Alabama
It was another impressive performance by Ingram, who now has rushed for 100 yards or more in five of Alabama's last six games. Ingram will have another chance to pad his stats in this week's cakewalk against Chattanooga before the Crimson Tide take on Auburn. After that, it's likely everything will be on the line when Florida and Alabama meet in the Georgia Dome on December 5th.

2. Kellen Moore, QB, Boise State
Nobody has put on the near perfect display at the quarterback position that Moore has in 2009. He leads all of Division 1-A in quarterback rating with 172.5 and touchdown passes with 32. Against rival Idaho, Moore threw for 299 yards and five touchdowns in a 63-25 victory. Boise State's perfect season seems a near forgone conclusion, but they still have to get pass Nevada, who is unbeaten within conference play. That game is the perfect time to have a Heisman like moment because that's all that's missing from Moore's candidacy.

3. Tim Tebow, QB, Florida
Quietly, Tebow is starting to come into a zone which spells trouble for the rest of the Heisman hopefuls. In the last three games, Tebow has totaled only 709 yards, but he's added eight total touchdowns with zero interceptions. He has three games left to pad his stats to make Heisman voters feel more at ease voting for him rather than some of the other worthy passers out there. In those games, if he puts up comparable numbers to his previous three, he'll be sitting in good shape. Well, as long as Florida beats Alabama which is easier said than done.

4. Colt McCoy, QB, Texas
Maybe my preseason Heisman pick has a little life in him after all. McCoy is starting to play more efficient football. Over the last three games, he's thrown for 822 yards, five touchdowns and only one interception. The one INT is key, as he threw eight of them in his previous seven games, including at least one in each contest. Texas has three remaining games, including the Big 12 Championship and there is a good chance McCoy could add a lot to his numbers in those games.

5. Jordan Shipley, WR, Texas
It was a workman like day for Shipley who caught a pair of touchdowns in Texas' blowout win over Baylor. He ranks fifth in receiving yards with 1,096 and sixth in receptions with 81. He probably won't win the Heisman nor get an invite to the ceremony, but if they gave out an award for the most unheralded player in the country, he'd clearly be the frontrunner right now.
