1. San Francisco 49ersAaron Rodgers, QB California
Rodgers and Smith are so close in talent and potential that the first QB taken could go either way. Tim Rattay and Ken Dorsey aren\'t anything special at QB for San Fran right now and in my opinion, Rodgers has the edge of Smith because of the level of talent he played against compared to Smith. Rodgers has a good arm and while he is no superstar he is still a huge upgrade over both Rattay and Dorsey and should develop into a solid QB in the near future.
2.Miami DolphinsRonnie Brown, RB Auburn
We all know the Dolphins have no running game at this point because of the retirement of Ricky Williams last year. Brown is the most complete RB in the entire draft and he should give new head coach Nick Saban a solid piece to build his offense around. A trade down is a possibility in orded to acquire more picks but I think that they can\'t pass on Brown and take him and start frsh in Miami.
3. Cleveland Browns Alex Smith, QB Utah
Trent Dilfer and Luke McCown are not the solution at QB. It seems obvious to me that they are going to draft whichever QB falls to them here and I think it will be Smith. I think Smith has more potential than Rodgers because of his mobility and his good arm and down the line, Smith could very well turn out to be better than Rodgers.
4. Chicago BearsBraylon Edwards, WR Michigan
Even with the addition of Muhsin Muhammad, the Bears go WR with this pick. Edwards is a tremendous playmaker and the Bears could use more of those to compliment young QB Rex Grossman. Edwards could very well be the best offensive player in the draft and hopefully, he doesn\'t turn out to be like the rest of the Michigan WR\'s.
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Mike Williams, WR USC
They were in love with Williams last year before he was ruled ineligible. They still are and even though Gruden seems to like Cadillac Williams, Mike Williams has better potential despite being out of football for a year.

6.Tennessee TitansAntrel Rolle, CB Miami (FL)
They lost both their starters in Samari Rolle and Andre Dyson. Rolle should come in and fill one of those voids. Rolle is a very physical corner and should be able to stay with the bigger recievers as he stands himself at just under 6\'1\
7. Kansas City(From MIN)(From OAK) Derrick Johnson, LB Texas
The Chiefs seem close to landing Patrick Surtain and if so, CB won\'t be as much as a need. They trade a couple later round picks along with the 15th overall selection to move up and grab the best defensive player in the draft in Derrick Johnson, Although more help is needed, the Chiefs will be right on their way with Derrick Johnson and Patrick Surtain.
8.Arizona Cardinals Cedric Benson, RB Texas
In my opinion, Benson is a better option than Carnell Williams because of his consistency. He is a big powerful back and the Cardinals have been looking for a RB for a long time. Benson could very well turn out to be the best rookie RB in the league despite being drafted 2nd.
9. Washington Redskins Erasmus James, DE Wisconsin
Despite losing Fred Smoot they still have decent CB\'s in Shawn Springs and Walt Harris so they can afford to pass on one until the 3rd round. They lack a true difference maker on the outside and that is what they bring in with the selection of James. James could be the best pure pass rusher in the draft as he simply has a knack for getting to the QB. Depth at CB is deep enough so that the Redskins could get a good corner in the 3rd round, someone like Ronald Bartell, Darrent Williams or Antonio Perkins.
10.Detroit LionsShawne Merriman, LB Maryland
The Lions would have liked for D.J. too fall here but will happily settle for Merriman. Merriman as a LB/DE tweener who could be succesful at either position. He could play either position for Detroit as they are a little weak at both positions.
11. Dallas Cowboys Marcus Spears, DE LSU
Like Detroit, they would have liked to see either D.J. or Merriman here but also will happily settle for Marcus Spears. They don\'t have a great pass rusher as of right now but Spears could change that in a heartbeat.
12.Tampa Bay Buccaneers(From SD) (From NYG)Carnell Williams, RB Auburn
The Buccaneers send Joey Galloway and some picks to San Diego in exchange for the #12 overall selection. Gruden has loved Williams since he coached him. They needed to assure that he didn\'t fall to Carolina because they could look at him as well if available. Williams squared gives the Buccaneers the best draft so far.
13. Houston Texans Alex Barron, OT Florida State
Deespite having just one DT on their active roster right now, they still need a Tackle to protect young gun David Carr. Carr knows the roof of the Houston Dome better than he knows the back of his hand. Barron would bring stability to a shaky offensive line.
14.Carolina PanthersTroy Williamson, WR South Carolina
With the loss of Muhsin Muhammad they have some big shoes too fill. Williamson can fill that right away as he is a physical presence with his combination of size and speed. He could even be an upgrade over Muhammad down the line if not right away.
15. Minnesota Vikings(From KC) David Pollack, DE Georgia
A DE is the biggest need and Pollack is a great one. He was the best DE in the NCAA last year and it shows how deep the DE pool is, Pollack being the 3rd one taken. He should form a great young tandem with last year\'s 1st round pick Kenechi Udeze.
16.New Orleans SaintsThomas Davis, S Georgia
Despite signing Dwight Smith, they still could upgrade Jay Bellamy. Davis is simply too good to pass up on and he could also play LB if need be where the Saints could use help as well.
