Christmas time is almost here and the one thing most of us have done in our lifetime is make a Christmas list. This year my Christmas list is a little different. I decided to make a list of the things I want to see happen as the season goes on.

Adrian Peterson in the Playoffs - Who doesn’t want to see the most explosive player in the NFL in the playoffs? He’s the best rookie since Randy Moss and he’s the type of player you tune into to see.

The Browns winning the AFC North - I want to see the Browns win the AFC North. Their offense is young and exciting. Plus I’d like to see Cleveland host a playoff game.

Green Bay getting home field advantage - I want to see the road to the Super Bowl run through Green Bay and New England. 2 cold weather teams and that’s how football is meant to be in my opinion.

Dallas vs. Green Bay rematch and Indianapolis vs. New England rematch - Now if you’re a fan of a team in the playoffs you obviously want that respective team to make it to the Super Bowl. If your just a fan then who doesn’t want to see the 4 best teams through the course of this season play each other. Favre vs. Romo and then Brady vs. Manning. That’s the best Championship Sunday card we’ve had in a long time.

Point scale:
1 point for 25 passing yards
1 point for 10 rushing yards
1 point for 10 receiving yards
6 points for passing TD
6 points for rushing or receiving TD

1. Adrian Peterson, RB, Minnesota Vikings

Peterson’s 2 touchdowns against the Bears is the only thing that kept him from descending on my list.

2. Tom Brady, QB, New England Patriots

Bad game by Brady but he’s really only had one poor game all year long which makes it hard for me to put him lower than this.

3. Ladainian Tomlinson, RB, San Diego Chargers

Everyone is jumping on the Chargers bandwagon but I’m not. I won’t take Norv Turner over Bill Belichick or Tony Dungy in a playoff game.

4. Brain Westbrook, RB, Philadelphia Eagles

How many fantasy owners screamed at their television when Westbrook went down purposely on the one yard line? Smart football play though.

5. Randy Moss, WR, New England Patriots

Moss needs 4 touchdowns in 2 games to break Jerry Rice’s TD record.

6. Terrell Owens, WR, Dallas Cowboys

TO seems like a bomb waiting to explode.

7. Joseph Addai, RB, Indianapolis Colts

Addai has 14 total touchdowns this year.

8. Tony Romo, QB, Dallas Cowboys

Romo is pushing 20 interceptions but has 35 touchdowns. Sounds like a typical Brett Favre type of year.

9. Willie Parker, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers

Another 100 yards for Parker and another loss for the Steelers.

10. Brett Favre, QB, Green Bay Packers

Favre threw another 2 touchdowns against the Rams.

11. Braylon Edwards, WR, Cleveland Browns

Edwards is 5th in receiving yards and 3rd in touchdowns.

12. Reggie Wayne, WR, Indianapolis Colts

Wayne will join Randy Moss as the two AFC starting receivers.

13. Willis McGahee, RB, Baltimore Ravens

McGahee ran for 100 yards and the Ravens still managed to be the first team to lose to the Dolphins.

14. Peyton Manning, QB, Indianapolis Colts

Manning and the Colts had a tough outing against the Raiders.

15. Ben Roelisberger, QB, Pittsburgh Steelers

“Big Ben” will be going to his 1st Pro Bowl.

16. Derek Anderson, QB, Cleveland Browns

Talk about a snow bowl. Anderson didn’t have much to work with when he can’t see who he’s throwing too.

17. Clinton Portis, RB, Washington Redskins

Portis has run for 1,000 yards this year and you could argue he deserved to make the Pro Bowl over Marion Barber.

18. Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Arizona Cardinals

Fitzgerald has 7 touchdowns in his last 5 games.

19. Marion Barber III, RB, Dallas Cowboys

Barber making the Pro Bowl should be a memo to Dallas. Give him the ball more.

20. Greg Jennings, WR, Green Bay Packers

Jennings probably should’ve gone to the Pro Bowl but Donald Driver got elected instead.

21. Jamal Lewis, RB, Cleveland Browns

Lewis is the perfect running back for a snow game as we saw this past Sunday.

22. Jason Witten, TE, Dallas Cowboys

Witten had another 100 yard game against the Eagles.

23. T.J. Houshmandzadeh, WR, Cincinnati Bengals

T.J. has 5 or more catches in every game but 1 this season.

24. Matt Hasselbeck, QB, Seattle Seahawks

Hasselbeck and the Seahawks really blew it against the Panthers.

25. Plaxico Burress, WR, N.Y. Giants

The Giants are going to have to get Burress the ball more now with Shockey out.

26. Wes Welker, WR, New England Patriots

Welker is among a slew of great AFC receivers that missed the Pro Bowl because only 4 can go.

27. Fred Taylor, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars

There used to be a rule that you shouldn’t draft Fred Taylor because he’ll get hurt. So much for that. His 4 consecutive 100 yard games has made him one of the better fantasy running backs in some league’s playoffs.

28. Chad Johnson, WR, Cincinnati Bengals

Before the year started, who would’ve thought that T.J. Houshmandzadeh would be heading to Hawaii and not Chad Johnson?

29. Justin Fargas, RB, Oakland Raiders

Fargas had to fight for his yards against the Colts and managed to get in the end zone too.

30. Drew Brees, QB, New Orleans Saints

Brees has 10 touchdowns in his last 4 games.
