Pros: Great hands. Fast. A WR in a TE's body. Runs solid routes. Very athletic. Nice vertical. Versatile.
Cons: Very light at 224. His blocking, while solid, is nothing to write home about. He may end up as a tweener between the WR and TE positions. Limited experience at TE.
Overall: Beckum is the top TE prospect for the same thing that people are questioning. He's versatile, but where will he play? Expect him to be used like Dallas Clark in the pros. Oh, he'll be a first round pick if he comes out - he's a junior.
Pros: Great speed for a TE. Excellent hands. Great leaping ability. Very productive. Has the ability to stretch the field. Dangerous in the open field: can run defenders over and run around them.
Cons: Good height but a little on the light side as far as weight. Not the greatest run blocker.
Overall: If a team doesn't expect him to run block very much and basically use him as another receiver, he could be a very productive tight end in the league in the mold of Kellen Winslow.
