Pros: Strong arm and quick decisions combined with the ability to move through progressions smoothly are at the top of Pike's skill set. Height and over the top delivery allows for catchable passes on the crossing routes and passes to the flats. Rises to the moment and rarely throws where the reciever is not the most likely to make the catch.
Cons: Mobility within the pocket is good but once forced to move off his spot he loses accuracy. Unproven against heavy pressure.
Overall: Waiting to see if he is available in the third round would probably be a mistake as some team will most likely be willing to take him with a pick in the second round. While worth a mid to late second round pick he would be a great third round pick if he drops that far.
