| Pros: He has become more of a leader since the spring of '08. His work ethic has improved tremendously since high school, where he was deemed lazy. Michael has a high football IQ and he doesn't commit a lot of penalties. Size isn't an issue for him and he is quite nimble for a man his size. Injuries aren't an issue. He comes off the line well in the two point stance in pass blocking. Can block on the run. His size will allow him to dominate in the run game. He's a solid technician. |
| Cons: His run blocking needs work as he doesn't do a great job in that like most college offensive tackle prospects. His strength still isn't where it needs to be. Getting into an NFL weight room with a strenght and condition trainer should do wonders for him.
| Overall: It really is no wonder why Michael Oher is considered a top-5 prospect in the upcoming draft. Michael has all the physical traits to become a dominant left tackle in this league as long as he continues to hunger to be better.

| Pros: Great potential, could be a Walter Jones, Orlando Pace type player, could take two or three years to develop into his full potential, very unlikely that he will get beat around the edge by a speed rusher due to his athletic ability, but also won't sacrifice size for athletic ability being 6-4 or 6-5 310+ pounds so he is difficult to bull rush, shows good overall ability to seal of an edge or get into the second level to help block a linebacker, opens up huge holes when asked and has a great character. |
| Cons: Won't be an instant force and could take two maybe three years to really blossom in the NFL. |
| Overall: Should be a great lineman in the NFL any team wanting a long term franchise player should take this guy, has good work ethic and defenitely warrants the first overall pick epeacislly for a team with a weak offensive line. |
| Pros: consistent, very durable, with no injuries and has a good work ethic. Also has a mean streak that you need to have to get to the next level in the pros.Played against good competition in the SEC. |
| Cons: none at this time. I don't wanna lie and say he sneezed the wrong way, when he didn't do anything wrong. Is very durable, and reliable, so I don't know any negative things on him. |
| Overall: 95%: is a very good left tackle, that could be used a number of ways. Potential top-15 pick in the 2009 NFL draft |
