Pros: Finds the open man with regularity; has a great mind for the passing game. A real leader, both emotionally and with taking responsibility for the offense. Decent arm, fires sharply when he needs to ('lasers'), works the downfield passing game quickly and well. Great on the 2 minute drill.
Cons: Barely over 6 feet tall, in a Drew Brees mold as far as that goes. QBs like Hall who throw alot tend to throw into crowds, and Max will do this, which leads to turnovers in the NFL. Doesn't possess blazing speed when he runs; gets sacked more than is desirable. Not known how much physical punishment he can take (he also is barely over 200 lbs.)
Overall: Worth a training camp appearance; perhaps will be drafted in the 5th to 7th rounds. Could certainly be a 3rd QB; worst case scenario would be as a developmental player.
