Pros: Moves well in and out of the pocket with good awareness of things going on around him....Keeps eyes downfield when scrambling and will find open recievers....excellent field vision....good arm and throws with good accuracy....Has the size and physical tools to be successful in the NFL.
Cons: Makes too many mistakes....Has a tendency to get outside of the pocket too much which makes me wonder if he is not comfortable sitting in and throwing from the pocket when the primary receiver is covered. May not have been a problem in college but could be a problem in the pros....
Overall: Ryan is a playmaker and a leader with all the physical tools to play in the NFL. He can be a franchise type QB but needs to prove that he is willing to play from the pocket more effectively.
Pros: A tall quarteback, who can make plays rolling out of the pocket. He constantly has his eyes downfield and not on the pass rush. He is very similar to Brett Favre, and Tony Romo.
Cons: At 215 lbs. he will have to bulk up. He makes to many mistakes when he is not hot, or if his team is struggling.
Overall: He should be a top 10 pick, and would fit best into a west coast offense.
Pros: Sees field well, tall, athletic, strong, calm in pocket, accurate and very strong armed. Great leader and very smart. Reminds me of a young Gunslinging B. Farve.
Cons: Young
Overall: First overall Qb off the board for sure. Maybe first overall if he has good workouts.
