Pros: Great at stuffing the hole and dropping a runningback in their tracks. Is very good in pass coverage and rushing the quarterback.
Cons: Could have some trouble chasing down NFL runningbacks and receivers. Will need to get a little faster in order to have great success.
Overall: Brinkley is dominant at the linebacker position. Would be best suited in a 3-4 defense. Could very well start his rookie season at a starting position.
