Pros: Great agility and athletecism. Goes on the field wanting to rip someone apart. Versatile player. Was a tight end and is moved to the Line so the little trick play where the offensive lineman goes out for a route is a Defenite weapon
Cons: Kinda got out of shape durring the summer. Walked out on the combine. Where as he has great ability and will have no problem getting back into shape, someof the teams in the top ten, mainly St. Louis, are looking for a lineman to start right away because they need to fill that spot immediatly
Overall: Overall on of the most talented Lineman in the draft. Where as I believe Eugene Monroe will be a better fit for St. Louis, because he is a better pass blocker and they need a big man to push the line for Stephen Jackson, Jason Smith would be also be a good choice because he is versatile and will allow Stephen Jackson to run mor on the outside with his great agility
Pros: * Overall athleticism
* Top zone blocking linemen
* tons of upside
* excels at pass blocking
Cons: * struggles while run blocking
* footwork is sometimes inconsistent
* often overpowered by the bigger d-linemen
Overall: Smith is primarily a pass blocker, but he is the top zone blocking offensive linemen in this draft. Look for a team who uses the zone blocking scheme like Oakland, Green Bay, or San Francisco to take him early in the 1st round.
