Pros: Lighting Fast Back with Nfl Size. Proven outsider runner. Great Kick returner with proven results. Led the nation in rushing average in 2007 at over 9.0 yards per carry.
Cons: Very few opportunities between tackles to prove he can be an every down back. Not a proven reciever since Arkansas rarely throws the ball. A lot of unknowns but potentially could be strong in all areas.
Overall: At the very least, would be a Great Kick Returner at the NFL level, and a good back for 5-15 carries per game. At best could be a starting running back for a team that runs a lot of spread like Green Bay or Dallas or NE.
Pros: lighting speed that makes scouts crazy, great hands, lots of potitential to be a every down back. does have great hands arkansas has thrown to him numerous times in screens.
Cons: hasn't really proved himself between his tackles but what he has shown between them shows you he could be a great back. fumbles a lot.
Overall: overall this could turn out to be the best back in the draft if he comes out and if mcfadden comes out. i would love to see him with green bay he would be a great fit to a team that needs a great running back
Pros: Great vision and speed. He easily lead the nation in average yards per carry. He has also played along Darren McFadden which has helped him in the use of his stiff arm. He is also a very explosive special teams player.
Cons: Hasn't been the premier back so you don't really know what to expect. Needs to gain some wieght.
Overall: His running style resembles the way Robert Smith used to run. He will have a successful career in the NFL.
Pros: Very fast and shifty runner, does not depend on strength to break tackles so he read his blocks a little better than Darren, proven in his yards per carry average. Makes huge plays!!!
Cons: Puts the ball on the ground at times, and has never had a 150 carries in one season, so durability is a concern!
Overall: With his running style and value in the return game, Jones will have a similar rookie season to Reggie Bush, without the receptions.
