| Pros: Has good size and knowledge of the game to be able to be a dominate quarterback. I feel that he's one of the best at being a leader and it showed his senior season when he had to break in a new set of wide receivers. Not to mention he was able to give Tennessee the opportunities to have a 10 win season with the rest of the team being very young and inexperienced. And also shows resilance after bouncing back from a horrific sophmore season. When he gets comfortable can be very effective in reading the coverages and has enough accuracy to be able to dominate in the short passing game. His game attributes to being very accurate. With his leadership ability, also comes toughness and being able to play well with injuries. Although because of injuries has not been able to really show arm strength but has shown in the pass he has a fairly good deep ball arm. Also shows that he can sling the ball around 50 times a game if needed. His knowledge is key to his success, being coached by Coach Cutcliff he will bring that knowledge into the NFL that will help him with reading coverages and defense. Playing at Tennessee helps him the most because of their pro style offense and Erik having already had a grasp of that style of offense. Not to mention he has played prime competition in the SEC. |
| Cons: Although a proven leader has not had a real signature win. Also his sophmore season also shows how much he can fail. Although he has a fairly strong arm he hasn't show really how far he can actually throw. Injuries have plagued Ainge throughout his career. Although had a lot of success his senor season, most of it was because he had a great offensive line to block him and sack him only a handful of times. When under preasure can get rattled and make mistakes. Of court has also shown that he has big feet and no speed. Sometimes misses wide open receivers and also makes poor mistakes when he gets greedy. |
| Overall: Overall I feel that Ainge can be a decent quarterback in the NFL if he is coached right. He's smart and he listens well. If he gets landed on a team that knows what they are doing offensively he may shine sooner than some think. But injuries are an issue with him and he will also prove that he can win a big time game before he actually becomes successful. I think he has proven that he can overcome adversity and with his height, acuraccy, leadership ability, and knowledge I would select him between the 2nd and 3rd round, although don't rule him out of the first road if teams are looking for quarterbacks. |

|
| Pros: Great arm, excellent touch, sees the field well, accurate, isn't afraid of taking hits. Get's rid of the ball quick and doesn't need top skill players around him to be succesfull. He's a leader and has faced top competition in his college career. |
| Cons: The word "inconsistent" is popped a lot around Ainge, but his team at times looked limited so that's unfair. He could make a bit more plays with his feet, and should improve his footwork. |
| Overall: He has all the intangibles and physical requirements for a top notch franchise QB. Extremely underrated, excellent prospect. |
|
|
| Pros: Very tall at 6'6'', big frame. Strong and accurate. Good genes. There are worse minds in football. |
| Cons: Very inconsistent. Has some head issues with confidence. Only has 1 1/2 solid years. |
| Overall: If he can continue with a decent senior year, he'll probably go late day 1. Good potential, particularly if he can get over his confidence and consistency problems. |
|
|
| Pros: 6'6 tall, strong. Can hit his targets pretty well. Strong arm. |
| Cons: Crumbles under presure. Is afraid to take hits. |
| Overall: with a little more building in cofidence. and some pretty good NFL coaching. he should turn out well. Ainge should be a late round 1 or early round 2 draft pick. |

Scouting Report by henri |
| Pros: When focused and has good protection he is very accurate when throwing the ball. Ainge is very smart and has no trouble with the play books, or reading the defense. Great pocket QB. |
| Cons: When the pressure is hot, he sometimes folds. Injuries have been an issue. Doesn't show alot of emotion. |
| Overall: Very good NFL second string QB. |
