Dominique Rodgers-Cromart Scouting Report by Matt Horkman
Pros: Great athlete with a lot of potential. He breaks on the ball real well and can play in any type of converage. Also shows good quickness and is an all around playmaker.
Cons: Hasn't played the best competition since he went to school at Tennessee State. Is really raw, might take a year for him to catch onto the NFL game.
Overall: Is the cousin of Chargers Antonio Cromartie and plays much like him. One of the two best defensive backs at the Senior Bowl along with Leodis McKelvin and you could argue, Cromartie was more consistent than any defensive back there. If he worksout well in the coming months should be a 1st round pick in a deep cornerback draft.
Dominique Rodgers-Cromart Scouting Report by David Moore
Pros: Determined, fast, athletic with good body control. Plays the ball in the air well, and has the ability to make plays on the ball. Long arms and a fluid hips help make up for misreads.
Cons: Raw. Some question the level of competition he has played against. Relies a lot on athletic ability therefore being caught out of position on occasion. Gets out of technique during stretches of games.
Overall: Will WOW scouts at the combine(especially in the 40;think 4.34-4.38 range),and someone will take a chance on Rodgers-Cromartie, just as the Chargers did with his Pro Bowl cousin Antonio Cromartie last year. There will be an adjustment period to the level of competition, and everything else being in the NFL brings, but where ever he goes he is sure to make an impact sooner rather than later!
Dominique Rodgers-Cromart Scouting Report by Nobody
Pros: fast, fast, fast. and agile. two physical aspects everyone loves in their corners and he has them. also a playmaker.
Cons: Really raw, never saw elite competition where he played ball. definitely needs to add weight or he'll get pushed around in the pros.
Overall: his talents made up for his lack of size and strength in college but we'll see how he ends up in the nfl. bottom line is he is a playmaker and should become a pretty good corner. if he adds weight and starts playing a little bit more aggressive, he should become a great corner
Dominique Rodgers-Cromart Scouting Report by Felipe Alanís
Pros: Great height, he'll be able to match a high body mass receivers like T.O. and overcome them if he increases a his weight. Is fast, has a terrific agility, is a play maker. Aggressive and confident
Cons: lack of strength and weight. Also lack of run support, even if he is improve the last game (in the senior bowl show some improvement). Need to work on his technique and footwork
Overall: a great prospect for the green bay packers and the dallas cowboys in the first round
