Pros: Has the ability to take it to the house every time he touches. Very comparable to Adrian Peterson when he was coming out of college but Mcfadden is more rounded with his ability to return punts and kicks and also catch the ball out of the back field.
Cons: Not many but if you wanted to nitpick he could bulk up more because right now he only ways 205. And it needs to be seen how he will work over a 16 game season and the wear and tear that it will have on him. Also he shared the running load in Arkansas with Felix Jones.
Overall: Should be one of the best running in the leauge for years to come. Arguably one of the most talented players to ever come out of college. Immediate impact and if he is paired with a good or okay offense he should be a threat for the most rushing yards in his first year.
Pros: The best back in college. Size, Speed, has a linbacker mentality. Very rarely does he go down on the first contact, and thats against the powerful SEC defenses.
Cons: Has had injuries but has also had more carries then anyone else in college football in the last two years.
Overall: Darren McFadden is a football player. He could play any position and will excel. Loves the contact and is a team player (shared the carries with his best friend Felix Jones) and never complained.
Pros: He's an all purpose back, he runs hard, has great durability, and has very good speed. His running style resembles that of Adrian Peterson.
Cons: He's needs to put on some more weight, most 6'2" running backs weigh a bit more than he does.
Overall: Darren McFadden is hands down the best running back in this draft. He dominates the SEC which is the best conference in college football, averaging over 130 yds per game. Expect great things out of him for years to come.
Pros: Very, very skilled MAN. Smart and has quick tiger like eyes. Every down back. Can come out the slot, and will be a great return guy if used that way. DMAC will make a team happy!
Cons: Need to run behind his pads more and learn to take a hit. I seen DMAC play in both High School and at UofA he NEEDS to get those pads down.
Overall: A++ A team would be dumb if they need a back and pass on this guy. He can lead his team to many wins if used right.
Pros: He has great vision, and an awesome burst out of the backfield. Great stiff arm. Once he hits the secondary he's almost impossible to stop.
Cons: Very small in the lower body. Goes down too easy if you get a hold of his legs. Needs to add at least 15-20 lbs.
Overall: Overall I feel like he could be a star in the NFL one day. Just because because of physically ability. But; I don't believe he is better than Mendenhall from Illinois.
