Pros: Accurate Leg, Consistent, Lots of Experience, Big Game Field Goal Kicker, NFL Mature
Cons: Leg Strength
Overall: Brandon Coutu has been one of the most consistent and dangerous kickers over the past four years. He is easily a very accurate kicker with an average leg. He'll find his way to being drafted but he'll really have to impress a team to stay on their roster. After each year more and more kicker jobs are being filled. A team won't go out of their way to draft Coutu but if he's around, he has too much potential to pass on.
Pros: Has a powerful leg. Has kicked in stressful situations. Has proven to have the right mentality for a kicker (can bounce back after a miss). Great distance on kickoffs.
Cons: Accuracy can be inconsistent at times. Suffered a torn hamstring during junior season.
Overall: As it stands now, Coutu is the top kicker in the 2008 draft class. Best combination of FG's/kickoffs. Should be drafted anywhere from the 4th-7th round of the draft.
