Pros: Team leader who leaves it all on the field. Commands respect from his teammates and takes the time to educate others on the depth chart about the nuances of their position. Above average in run support.
Cons: Liability in zone coverage. Gets caught out of position and gives up big pass play completions. Marginal athletic ability. Doesn't consistently play the ball rather than the receiver and has unnecessary pass interference calls. Bites on play-action and lacks the burst to be able to recover. Character concerns as well stemming from a lengthy suspension junior year.
Overall: Senior defensive captain due to his work ethic and personality. Practice squad player only, possibly a special teams addition but nothing more.
