Andre Woodson
Scouting Report by JL |
| Pros: Andre really has a big arm that is going to impress some people in the NFL. He also has prototypical size, and has shown that while inconsistent, he has the ability to make all the throws because of his arm strength. |
| Cons: His accuracy is inconsistent to downright awful at times. Much of this can be attributed to his poor footwork and elongated delivery. While receiving proper instruction at the Senior Bowl, these problems only worsened for Andre. While he has some athletic ability, because of his delivery and slow mental game, he is going to take a beating in the NFL, where the game may prove to be too fast if he does not learn to identify coverages and locate secondary receivers quicker. |
| Overall: Andre received a ton of hype going into this year, and it reached a crescendo with his team’s victory over LSU early in the season. However, breaking down film on him can’t help but leave you severely disappointed in his skills as a quarterback. While he possesses tremendous arm strength and excellent size, he does not have many of the other traits required of an NFL starting quarterback. His accuracy was easily the worst I graded among this year’s class of quarterbacks, as he consistently overthrew receivers short and was extremely erratic long – even when he did connect with his receivers long, he often put way too much air under his passes, which will be broken up or intercepted by NFL safeties. I believe part of the misconception on him is the fact that he went to Kentucky, a school normally at the bottom of SEC. The team has had success, and too much of the credit has gone to him, when he surprisingly has plenty of talent around him at the skill positions. In addition, while certainly no one expected him to make amazing strides in three days at the Senior Bowl, his steps and delivery seemed to get worse. Because of his physical ability, someone is going to fall in love with him and draft him much higher than he should go. In my opinion, he will need significant time to fix his mechanics and learn the mental game of the NFL. |

| Pros: The obvious pros for Andre Woodson are his size and the fact that he does not turn the ball over.. With a 6'5 frame and great athleticism he will definitely have tremendous upside as a professional quarterback..He is one who does not make many mistakes and with the right coaching and mentoring from a veteran QB he will only get better.. |
| Cons: His major drawback is that he tends to hold the ball a little longer than necessary and take a lot of hits.. I am sure that with the speed of todays NFL's players and their brut strength, he will learn to get rid of the ball either the easy way or the hard way!!! |
| Overall: Overall, Andre Woodson will make for a nice early first round pick for any team looking for a quality QB who will be able to come in and make an immediate impact. The system he has played under at Kentucky resembles that of many professional teams and his intelligence on and off the field will only help secure his future at the next level. |

Andre Woodson
Scouting Report by Gentry |
| Pros: Has a strong arm and is hard to bring down with an arm tackle is acurate at short passes |
| Cons: His numbers are way inflated because he throws so many short passes then throws it up long here and there to let the receiver get under it. Low interception from low risk passes. |
| Overall: He reminds me of the way Vick threw. He would throw a pass underneath to get a completion and help his numbers instead of throwing for the first down. His receivers covered up his lack of accuracy on long passes. Threw very little slants where the receiver could get yards after the catch. Gimmick QB like Young is at Tennessee. Might sell you tickets but, will never win you a Super Bowl |

Andre Woodson
Scouting Report by Greg |
| Pros: He has the prototypical quarterback size with a solid frame. He has a strong arm with good accuracy with it. He makes good decisions with the ball most of the time. Isn't afraid to stand up in the pocket, if it means buying more time. Excellent intagibles and work ethic. Still has quite a bit of upside. |
| Cons: His delivery is really screwed up. It takes way too long for the ball to get out of his hand. Has almost too much confidence in his arm, which tends to make overthrows. He is still raw, and will need a good coach. |
| Overall: His stock is dropping like a rock. After looking like a surefire top-15 pick, he is dropping. Still, the upside is there and if you can fix out his kinks, you might have a top-10 QB in this league. Physically, everything is there, but it needs some real fine tuning.
Projected Round: Late 2nd - Mid 3rd |

Andre Woodson
Scouting Report by Justin |
| Pros: Great size at the QB position. Has great arm strength and is very accurate in the pocket, evidenced by his SEC record for most consecutive attempts without an interception. Great pocket pressence allows him to feel the rush and get rid of the ball quickly. Performed well in a lot of big games. |
| Cons: Struggles if flushed out of the pocket. Hesitates to run, even if he has a lane. |
| Overall: Possibly best qb in the draft. Could be a great franchis qb for years to come. |
