I need serious help.
I need some serious help to make the playoffs in my 10 team league. I have questions at several positions:
QB
Drew Brees vs. Packers
or
Tony Romo vs. 49ers
RB
*Adrian Peterson vs. Jags
and
Michael Turner vs. Panthers
or
Steve Slaton vs. Browns
or
Willie Parker vs. Bengals
WR
*Calvin Johnson vs. Bucs
and
Lee Evans vs. Chiefs
or
Marques Colston vs. Packers
or
Jerico Cotchery vs. Titans
I need to pick a QB, one RB and one WR. Please help.
I am fighting to make the playoffs. Out of 10 teams I am currently in 7th place.
I have scored more points in the league than anyone, but my opponents always have career games against me.
The team in sixth place has the same record as me but owns the tiebreaker since he beat me head-to-head. Out of 11 weeks, he has only outscored me one time. It just happened to be the one time we played each other.
Last week I played my league's last place team. He had previously won one game. As my luck would have it, his QB was Matt Cassel who put up over 40 points. This last place team scored 30 more points than they have in any one game this season and beat me by five points.
I would have a winning record if I played the first place team every week.
As you can see, I have bad luck. Please help me.

Brees, Parker, Colston.
You could probably interchange any of your RBs, but I think Parker has something to prove and looked pretty good week 11.
You could also go with Evans, but he has had 2 rather poor weeks. I think the Packer/Saint game will be high scoring, and Colston should get a lot of touches.

Drew Brees
Adrian Peterson
Calvin Johnson
Colston is going against 2 good CBs in GB and he's got a bothersome knee.

Brees and Colston ( I don;t like the match-up vs GB's D for Brees but Romo's pinky is not 100% yet otherwise i'd say start him.)
As for RB i would go with Slaton, he seems to get his "groove" back so to speak last week and cleveland got ran all over by lynch last week. Although you can't go wrong with FWP either IMO

Thats exactly what I was thinking Plugs, but I am a big Packers fan and I know how tough their corners play. Like you, I was still thinking that might be better than Romo with a bad pinky. Just wanted some other opinions.
Thanks,
