Question - How many QBs can be good without a oline? How many players in ANY position can be good without a online. The big boys up front determine who wins a loses a game for the most part. Of course the oline is there to help Brady win. 54 players on the team are there to help Brady win. Why does a player have to be overrated because he has something else good around him. The fact is that Brady has gotten 3 rings in the 5 years hes been in the league. How many sucky qbs can say that they have done that? NONE

Just because the Pats are great now doesn't mean that all Pats fans are fair-weather(no h) fans. I've been a fan since I was a little kid, going to games since 1986.

I did sit back and watch some terrible seasons record-wise, but never stopped being a fan.

It's a dumb statement. I'm sure there are some fair weather fans, but not all. Every home Pats game has sold out since Kraft bought the team in 1994. New England fans are loyal in general.

And let me guess, coleman: When you were 5 and watching the 'boys, it was the '90's and they were winning. ??

not necessary at all. You don't know that guy. Do you?? So why say he isn't a loyal fan. To any football fan being called not loyal is the worse thing.

Everybody thinks their team is americas team but the Cowboys do have the nickname and they are americas team but your gonna have to deal with that. The Pats are on top and the boys are not.

That, and the fact that the Pats shut out the 'boys the last time they played.

Everybody thinks their team is Americas team but the Cowboys do have the nickname and they are Americas team but you’re gonna have to deal with that. The Pats are on top and the boys are not.
I'm not going to take issue with anyone about being a fair weather fan or not. There are many bandwagon jumpers for lots of teams; my Eagles are no different in that regard, but I do however have a bit more respect for the fan I see wearing a classic jersey (not retro meaning you just paid for one that looks old) that's been worn to death. I guess the best example of this would be the brave soul who chose to wear his cream sickle orange and white Mark Carrier jersey to an Eagles/Bucs game in Philly many years back. Clearly not a fair weather fan he wasn't taughted like the Sapp suckers who didn't even know who Carrier was.

But I digress... the only issue I have heard is how the Cowboys became America’s team. If you're a Cowboys fan, and from Texas, then more power to you... but how did a team that hails from a state that didn't even want to become a part of the good old USA until Mexico was about to roll up all over them become "America’s Team”? Dallas shouldn't have even been in the running for that nickname. NE and Philly should have been the only choices on the ballot.

NE - Patriots (Don't get much more American than that do yha?) Boston was where the American Revolution started and is indeed much steeped in American history. If NE was called "Americas Team" I could accept this without issue... but Dallas?

Philly (My oh so very biased choice of course)- Eagles (Symbol of our Great Nation.) Philly was also the birth place of Liberty and Independence. Has about as much history as NE and was at one time even the Capital of the good ol' US of A.

I'm just a little baffled as to how a team from Texas (not a state until 1845 and who later seceded from the Federal Union in 1861) ever came to be "America’s Team". Now, let me say that I've got no ill will toward Texas or Texans; they are clearly some of the most Patriotic folks you'll meet, but Dallas being Americas Team? No. no. no.. me thinks not. It's time to recount those ballots. LOL!

NE and Philly should be the only teams on the ballet?????????? I believe that is what you said and I have to disagree. The Packers and Bears are just as worthy as the Eagles and Patroits for "Americas Team". I believe they are the 2 oldest franchises in football.

As for how Dallas became Americas team. I think the Star had something to do with it but either way everyteam is americas team. There shouldn't be just one americas team and there isn't. How much do people refer to Dallas as "americas team" now. Not much but when they were winning it was more common. hmmmmmmmm.

Well that's a very safe, diplomatic, PC answer. You took all the fun right out of my argument. LOL!

I'll give you the Pack since they were the first to win it all and as the first Champions could be deemed "America's Team". You'd have to sell me more on the Bears though. As for every team being "America's Team" um.... Ew. That's like not keeping score in football, saying everyone wins, lets all go get an ice cream cone after the game. Where is the fun in that? LOL!
