Do I take this trade?

I've been offered Manningham, Lance Moore, Cadillac Williams and Cedric Benson for Matt Forte and Marques Colston. What do you guys think?

It really depends on the rest of your team. I'm one of those, "you can't give up on Forte this early" type guys...but caddy and benson at the moment sounds good.

I still prolly wouldn't do it though. What you would be giving up in Colston, you won't be getting with manningham or moore.

Don't get me wrong, i like manningham. A lot. I think he's gonna beat out Steve "The Other Steve Smith" Smith in NY. But Colston already IS the guy in NO, and though i also like moore...a lot....he's injured at the moment and may take some time to get his rhythm back with Brees. And even when he does, he still might lose out some TDS to Meachem-henderson-shockey-bush-thomas-bell-evans etc...

I would say stay put.

Have some faith in Forte. The bears wont play GB and PIT every week.

The bears have some trouble with the 3-4. And the seahawks is too tasty a matchup to pass on. Everybody's hurt on that team.

Your going to trade your #1 and 2 picks for Benson, Manningham and a bunch of garbage?


I say absolutely not, Forte's numbers will be better then Cedric Benson at the end of the season, and Colston is the #1 Wr in the #1 passing offense in the league, why would you want to get rid of him?

Cadillac plays for a bad team, has a reconstructed knee, and isn;t the same player he was when he was drafted, he had 9 rushing yeards last week, and the receiving TD was the exception not the rule with him, and as much time as Lance Moore is injured this year his spot in the offense is taken up more and more by Henderson and Meachum.

In my opinion take stick with the quality (Forte and Colston) over the quantity

No way! Moore is injured and now the 4th receiver behind Colston(who you have) Henderson and Meachem plus Bush out of the backfield. Manningham's value is up but still not comparable to Colston(who is on the best passing team in the league with the best qb). Forte struggled first two games vs. top 5 run defenses in league. He will be fine. If you make this trade, your team will suffer.

Thanks, guys. I think the only reason I considered this was because Forte is my only RB who should be productive. (Other back is Bradshaw) So with the trade I would have 2 potential productive backs and a decent replacement for Colston.

Even if you went 0-3, Forte could still take you to the playoffs...
