Default Trying to pull off a last-minute trade

I'm trying to pull off a last-minute trade in my league to upgrade at QB. I'm currently 2nd and that is my only weak spot on my team. The other team is in a 6-way tie for 2nd/5th place (one team would lead a division, the rest would tie for 5th). The trade deadline is tomorrow at noon EST, but he's the commissioner so a trade can be pushed through quickly.

He's got Peyton Manning, who's doing well again and has great matchups down the stretch, so I don't expect him to be benched anytime soon. His backups are Thigpen & Orton, and I would like to try and get one of them because they're probably better than what I have (at least, in terms of schedule). I love Thigpen's schedule down the stretch (though I am a little worried that people might figure him out soon), and Orton's isn't bad, either. Here is his roster. Do you see a trade I could pull off?

If anything, I might take a shot at getting Cassel off of waivers. His schedule is favorable the rest of the way, and Delhomme's schedule is tough, plus he wasn't effective against some weak pass defenses.

QB: P. Manning, Thigpen, Orton
RB: Forte, K. Smith, L. White
WR: D. Jackson, S. Smith, L. Moore, N. Washington, R. Davis
TE: A. Gates
K: Elam, Carney
DEF: Ravens

He's pretty weak at WR, so try giving him Holmes for Orton or Thigpen. If you cant work out a deal then grabbing Cassell off waivers is not a bad option either

I don't know if he'll go for that but I could try it.

Didn't get the claim for Cassel.

His roster has changed with a few pickups. Here is his new roster. I'm definitely not parting with a starter to get Thigpen or Orton.

QB: P. Manning, Thigpen, Orton
RB: Forte, K. Smith, L. White, L. Washington
WR: D. Jackson, S. Smith, L. Moore, R. Davis, J. Cotchery
TE: A. Gates
K: Elam
DEF: Cowboys
