Painted myself into a corner? Help!
First, you all have been great and hate to overload the topics (and I know - it's still preseason so maybe I should wait and let things sort out better).
10 team non-keeper league, std PPR, starting 1-QB 2-RB 3-WR 1-TE 1-K 1-DEF
My current team - bye weeks in parens:
QB: Romo (10), Rodgers (8)
RB: LT (9), MJD (7), K. Smith (4), Ricky Williams (4), C. Perry (8)
WR: Roy Williams (4), G. Jennings (8), D. Driver(8), J. Cotchery (5)
TE: T. Scheffler (8), B. Watson (4)
As a last move, I had planned on picking up Eddie Royal, dropping Ben Watson, and wait and adjust/trade as necessary (once I get better handle on Driver/Jennings, Perry/Williams). Well I messed up - Royal's bye week is week 8 (the same as Jennings and Driver). One team is in serious RB trouble and looking for a trade:
RB: Jacobs (4), McFadden (5), F. Jones (10)
WR: TO (10), Andre Johnson (8), C. Johnson (Det) (4), N. Burleson (4), D. Thomas (Was) (10)
TE: Gates (9), Lee (8)
TO appears to be the one WR that fits with my bye weeks - is there something there that would work well? As a side note Hardy (6), Ginn (4), and D. Jackson (7), Curry (5), Toomer (4) are also out there among a few others. Again thanks!

Grab Hardy in order to get TO he's going to ask for to much most likely he'll want Romo or MJD and that would leave you really weak

Seemed like that would be the case. Was hoping might be able to package a lesser RB with Jennings or Driver (though don't have enough info yet to judge). As a safety, it makes sense to pick up Hardy (do like his, Royal, and Ginn's potential - Royal seemed to be in the best situation at the moment).
Might just put a general feeler out there - can always reject or retool an incoming offer.

What about DeSean Jackson for the Eagles? McNabb likes to throw and Jackson doesnt have much competition there.

Bleh. I am not a fan of DeSean Jackson at all. Especially in a 10 team league there has to be better waiver options

DeSean Jackson has gained the trust of McNabb and will have a great season. Right now, he's the #1.
Don't worry so much about bye weeks. If you can get Cal Johnson w/out giving up much, take it. He's the 3rd WR on the other team. Trying to get their 1st or 2nd round pick (T.O. or A.J.) will cost too much, as they will probably outscore all of your RBs, sans LT.

Define 'great season'. What kind of #'s are you expecting from him?
