Real interesting.
It obviously is nice for the Broncos, who move up 14 spots in the first round just by giving up a couple middle round picks.
Makes sense for the Jets too. They got the first rounder they wanted for Abraham, albeit the 29th pick.
Not great for the Falcons, but alright. They basically gave up the 15th pick in the draft for Abraham, a middle round pick this year, and a middle rounder next year. That price seems to be a bit steep, but he'll certainly make an impact for them.
I wonder who the Broncos are thinking about taking at 15.

I thought the Falcons were going to do everything possible not to give up pick #15.

.....i dont know if denver has the cap room for 2 first rounders, especially moving up 14 spots......
I'M PRETTY EXCITED RIGHT NOW.......we'll see how this works out.....

they traded first round draft picks with the falcons:
Denver gets:
15th pick
Atlanta gets:
29th pick
mid rounder in 2006
mid rounder in 2007
Atlanta then traded the 29th overall pick to the Jets to get John Abraham
so, after everything was said and done
Denver gets:
15th pick
Atlanta gets:
John Abraham
mid rounder in 2006 (from Denver)
mid rounder in 2007 (from Denver)
New york Jets get:
29th pick

well, i dont know......getting a first rounder for abraham is pretty good......
of course, as a denver fan i think we did GREAT here......moved up 14 spots in the first round for only two mid rounders spread over two years.......
atlanta got the worst part of this deal......they get abraham but lose a first rounder......they are only recieving 2 mid rounders in extra picks......
thats just what i think.......

at #15 i think denver will be looking at
Donte Whitner, S
Tambi Hali, DE
LenDale White, RB---if he falls here--White is actaully from Denver
Broderick Bunkely, DT
possible other RB's like Williams or Maroney
---this is also interesting with the Jets...i think they'll take Kiwanuka at #29
