As I type this I'm figuring out a package that the Jets can put together for him. Clemens+2nd round pick?

I'm very torn here. I have not liked Cutler from the day he was drafted. Something about him just bothers me, and that's been even furthered with the antics he's put on in Denver these last few weeks.

However he's a much better QB than either Tarvaris Jackson or Sage Rosenfels, so a part of me wants to trade for him, knowing the Vikings are so close to be a dominant team

Bottom line is he's a punk kid. He's one of those qb's you face in highschool that bitches to the ref on every play and thinks he's god. Prolly wears a superman shirt under his jersey. Odds are the Jets get him cause it would make sense for us to get a punk since we never make the right moves. It'll prob take their first and a 3rd or 4th... then denver drafts defense at 12 and sanchez at 17.

Rumor says the Broncos want a QB capable of starting in return with the deal. In other words, it's not so much about draft picks.

Cleveland really steps forward if this is true. McDaniels has some link to Brady Quinn through Charlie Weis. Quinn knows much of the offense McDaniels utilizes.

If it is a draft pick the Broncos want, then I think its the Jets and Bucs who will make bids.

Don't dismiss the Lions either.

Don't forget the Bucs gave up their 2nd round pick for Kellen Winslow, are they really willing to throw away their whole first day of the draft?

I think Detroit with it's 20th pick makes a lot of sense. Cleveland also has 2 2nd rounders so Quinn and the 2nd they picked up for Winslow or a 3rd has some chance, but I personally don't see it happening. The Jets make sense as well if it's picks they want.

That's definitley not enough lol. Im trying to put together a package for Cutler as well though lol. But I dont think the Jets have a shot. Not because they couldnt offer a nice package but because teams like the Browns and Lions simply have more to give.

I would think teams like Minnesota and Chicago should get involved here as well if the Broncos do start to listen to offers.

I think the Lions seem like the best fit. It's an NFC team and a bad one at that. 20th pick for Cutler gives Denver two picks in the top 20 and they could probably land one of the QB's that way to play under Chris Simms for a year.

As far as Cutler being a punk. Brett Favre was a bit of a punk in his days in Atlanta. That trade worked well for the Falcons huh?

I think Cutler would be a good get. If the Vikings get him, they're a 13-3 team IMO. Without him, they're battling it out for the division like they did last year.
