Bold call. I just dont see it. The Steelers D is at another level. Larry Fitzgerald will get his, but in the end I think Warner will take a beating and the running game wont be able to do aything

I am interested in seeing the Cardinals big, physical Wideouts go up against that Steeler D.
I also like the Tomlin and Wisenhunt storyline as well. Wisenhunt and Grimm were passed over by the Steelers for Mike Tomlin who "wowed" Managment with his interview.

this is great Superbowl match up. Everyone's going to key on the Cards offense vs. the Steel defense, but I think in the end, the difference will be who wins between the Cards D and Steel O.
I'm rooting for the Cards, and I think they have a good shot. But my gut keeps telling me the Steelers will take it.
But my gut has been wrong pretty much all playoffs long, so I guess it's a good thing

Cards have too much momentum going right now. Warner has the poise and experience to get it done against a defense like the steelers. The key for me is how the cardinals dline plays against the pitt offense. Part of their great success in the playoffs was the crowd noise generated by home field, allowing the dline to get off ridiculously fast. The defense will have to stop the steelers run game. If they do they and make ben have to throw, I think that secondary of theirs with Rolle and Cromartie will continue to force turn overs. Turnovers and gettin ahead early have been the winning formula for the cards, and if they are able to do it again they will win the game.

I want the Cards to win just cause I like to root for the dogs but I just don't see it happening. Cards don't have a running game (worst in the league) and they are going up against the best passing defense in the league. Arizona just got by Philly and now they go on the road again to play a much better team. Again, rooting for Arizona and will probably bet the spread with them but I don't see them winning.

as far as arizonas running game, that isnt the case any longer. The numbers on the season lie. If you've been watching, edgerrin james has been on a tear with a set of fresh legs, and the running game is another big part of why they have been winning. Larry fitz is having his way partially because teams are forced to bring 8 men into the box against the cards now more often than not.

James has 200 yards in 3 games. I'm not super impressed and you also have to look at who it was against. ATL and CAR aren't that good of running defenses. The Eagles were in the top 5 but they were more concerned about the passing game rather than the running game so that is why James got as many yards as he did on Sunday. If Pitt takes away the passing game and Arizona has to rely on running the ball I don't think they have a chance. I don't see Pitt putting 8 guys in the box often.

I think its a great match-up the Cards O vs the Steelers D, but what the games really comes down to IMO is the Cards D vs the Steelers O, if the Cards D can stop the Steelers and can cause Big Ben to turn over the ball a few times it will ease the pressure on Warner, Fitz and the Cards O
