Vick Vs Manning
I personally think Peyton Manning is so succesful because of the talent he has around him in Wideouts, so i'm conducting an experiment on what you think would happen if you switched him with Mike Vick who has below average recievers. I want you guys to take my poll, then post an explanation on your choice. IF you can, post what you think would be the season stats for each Qb.
Mike Vick
Comp % - 63.2%,
Comp- 299 Attempts-473
Passing Yards- 3206 yards
Passing Td's- 26
Passing int's- 10
Rushing Attempts- 82
Rushing Yards- 578
Rushing Td's-5
Total TD's- 31
Payton Manning
Comp %- 60 %
comp- 301 Attempts- 502
Passing Yards- 3002 yards
Passing TD's- 22
Passing Int's- 14
Rushing Attempts- 110
Rushing Yards- 353
Rushing Td's- 4
Total Td's- 26.
Tell me what you think.

Manning with a defense. He wouldn't put up as good as numbers but he would do better. Vick wouldn't have a defense and I don't think he could put up the amount of points needed to win. Manning with a defense and a solid Runninggame. Not to mention some young recievers. He would win more games. I don't know where Manning gets over 300 yards rushing on your stats as well. No where near would he have that. More like 30 yards.

Maning has had 3 seasons with 100+ yards in rushing with his high 157 yards. I factored the fact that he would have to run more without his Stokley, Harrison, and Wayne Duo. Which would add about 100 to 150 yards to that. Does it make sense to you now.

No not at all. Take this in account. Manning the last 2 seasons has ran for a total of 64 yards. He has never gone over a 100 attempts like you say he will. No chance does he run in 4. He's getting older. I would say Manning would still put up lesser INT's than Mike Vick if they switched offenses. Someone said this thread was hypocritcal and there right.

Stokley, Wayne & Harrison would be a trio , not a duo. Peyton is not a mobile QB. Just because he has differant WR doesn't mean he's going to rush for double his career high. It means that he'll probably find himself looking up at the roof of the georgia dome a lot. Peyton's career rushing averages are 30 attemps per year for 88 yards. You're right that he ran for 100+ yards 3 straight years, but that was 2000-2002. The last 2 years combined he ran for 64 yards.

For Porky, i said Manning has rushed for over a hundred 3 times in his career, not 100 attempts. And for the other dude, thanks for the correction, but this is a football forum, not a grammar forum, stick to the point.

In your stats you have Manning taking more rushing attempts than Vick. Why???

Because Dungy would not let him run as much. Athough Mora does not let him run also, i think Vick unlike in Atlanta would find less reasons to run with Harrison Wayne and Stokley running the Routes, plus he would have the 4th best Rb to hand the ball off to. Manning on the other hand, would have to run a little bit more, because once again, his main man would probably be Crumpler, but there's so much a 260 pound TE can do for you, unless Price would step up, manning would have to attempt over 100 rushing attempts. If i would increase or decrease the attempts on both Qb's, it would no be more than +/- 10.

Based on your stats. Manning would win more games none the less. You've got no idea what your talking about saying an older Peyton Manning would take more rushing attempts than Mike Vick. I'm done posting in this thread. Way to meaningless to me. Sorry but your stats and facts are horrible.
