So at this point in the season...
who do you have playing in the Super Bowl???...
AFC: For me, I think the Steelers are the team to beat at this point. The Titans were playing great at the start of the season but I have a feeling they might have peaked too early. Sunday's game is going to tell us a lot about both teams but I think the Steelers will make Collins beat them and I don't think hes capable.
Also, with Harrison and Polamalu, the Steelers have the playmakers on defense that you need come playoff time. Both those guys have made the plays the Steelers needed that changed the complexion of some big games.
NFC: Again, got to go with the hot team heading into the playoffs and that's the Carolina Panthers. I'm guessing I will probably be in the minority with this pick but it's so important who has the momentum at the right time. Look at the Giants last year, they gained a lot of confidence against the Pats in the last game of the regular season and rode that all the way to the Super Bowl. Also, the Panthers have the best running attack in the NFL, IMO, which will be very important as the season moves on. Jordan Gross, Jeff Otah, and Ryan Kalil are three parts to possibly the best Oline in the league as well.
Their only question mark is will Jake D. be able to carry them when the run game isn't there. I think he can. It's not too hard to throw the ball to Steve Smith, is it?
As for the Giants,I think they lost a lot of rhythm when they lost Plax otherwise I think they would be the favorites. But until they get some things figured out on offense, I'll take the Panthers.
So who do you have????

AFC: same as you, I got the Steelers. Their defense is just too good IMO and is a nightmare to any of their opponents. Their offense can get them plenty of enough points for that defense.
NFC: tough one between the Panthers and Giants but I gotta go with the Giants. They been there before and I think they will pull everything together and get everything right in time for the playoffs.
Super Bowl: Steelers vs. Giants
gotta go with the Steelers

0-2 at least today. Hopefully we'll get to see some great games in the playoffs as well.
I still think Carolina played great and they were a couple plays away from winning this game in New York.
Gunna be exciting come playoff time!!!

AFC: Colts. Peyton Manning is pretty much unstoppable right now. Sure their defense isn't playing at its highest level, but when you can pretty much score points at will you don't need to. Plus they have a veteran QB and a very good head coach on their side.
Look out for San Diego though if they manage to squeeze into the playoffs.
NFC: Giants. After tonight's game, they are back to their game plan of running the ball. They have a great defense and they get to play at home all the way until the Super Bowl.
Whoever win the NFC though, it will probably be an easier road than in the AFC.

AFC: I think it's going to be between the Steelers and Colts. The Colts are playing well right now. They're better than the West champ, and then they'd get the Titans after that, and because the Colts are on a hot streak, and I think they can take down Tennessee. I think Pitt can get by likely the East champion at home, before the AFC title game, which if Tennessee loses, is at Pittsburgh. I think Indy/Pittsburgh would be a good game, the weather might be a factor in Pittsburgh's favor.
NFC: I've got a feeling we saw a NFC championship game preview last night with Carolina and the Giants. The game could go either way in January, but I think the Giants will win again.
My current prediction for the Super Bowl is the Giants and Steelers.

I said Steelers and Panthers at mid season and I'm sticking to it, but I think the Colts and Ravens can do some damage in the AFC and there is just something about Atlanta this year that makes me think they'll be in the hunt too.

I said Panthers/Titans midseason and I'll stick with my prediction as well. The Colts are the biggest threat to Tennessee.

I'm going with the Steelers and Giants right now. I didnt make a prediction midway through the season but I have been riding the Giants all year. I dont see the Titans beating Pitt come playoff time if they meet. Thats just my opinion. It wouldnt shock me if Baltimore made some noise either.
