Default Ted Johnson is retiring

Both of the Pat's starting ILB's from last year will not be playing this year. This is a big blow to the defense, especially the run defense. We now have to count on Chad Brown to stay healthy and Monty Beisel to step up.

I hope they seriously consider moving Vrabel inside. We could use him in there.

NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope Beisel does step up. But it scares me that he played for KC and wasn't a go-to starter on defense. I think Beisel and Brown will fill the middle at first, but we need one more legit starting caliber ILB. I bet that McGinest, Colvin, and Vrabel do soem training camp work in the middle. Especially Vrabel and McGinest who know thir duties on the outside so well now.

Two linebackers and both cordinators in one offseason, it's not looking so good for the 3-peat.

I remember hearing the same doubt after last year PIT game when Ty Law and Tyrone Poole went out w/ injuries. The next game was against STL where they would light us up and the Pats season would be all downhill. I also remember being the underdogs against IND in the playoffs last year. Peyton and his offense were "unstoppable" according to most. The Pats won both games, by a total score of 60-25. I'll like their chances up to the point where their season ends.
