Michael Vick had mentioned before he would welcome TO in Atlanta, and thats where his home is. Wouldnt that make for an even sweeter Week 1?
But I think maybe take Peerless Price and a 1st Rounder.

That being said, I am on the side of the player, if TO is that good, he should get a better contract, while Randy Moss may be the best, he took a pay cut in Oakland for the team.

TO signed a contract when he was considered one of the the best WR's in the game. Why did he sign it then? As a desperation move to get out of SF and stay away from BAL. He obviously didn't think it through at that time. Why would he sign that length contract for that amount of money? If he and his agent aren't smart enough to realize that, screw them. Also, he signed it with the Eagles. Along with New England, known to be the strictest team regarding re-doing contracts. the thinking should come before the signature, not after the season.

Well ESPN reporter Sal Palantino said there are 2 options for TO.

1. Play this season with the Eagles
2. Don't play this season.

I can't see the Eagles letting his contract just sit there like that. He is gonna rack up a lot of fines.

The Eagles need TO. Kind-of.

But not as badly as TO needs them.

The Eagles have been to the conf. champ game 4 years in a row. This past year they won it for the first time, WITHOUT TO.

They didn't win the Superbowl.

Yes, he's an amazing player that would greatly help their team, but what exactly did he help them do that they hadn't done before?

Personally, I'd love to see them trade him to the 49ers or Lions. Imagine him back in SF on that horrible team. Or even better, reunited w/ Garcia and Mariucci, flanked by 3 1st round WR's.
