Default Thursday Night Football

Well Porky I am now on the Brett Favre band wagon after this game lol. This was a great game. The Jets and Pats left it all out there tonight. Matt Cassel played a great game and Randy Moss made a great catch on basically the last play of the game.

I could write an essay on this game but i'll keep it short. Favre and the Jets played very well. The Pats had all the momentum throughout most of the second half but the Jets didnt break. The Pats had a costly fumble and a very costly error by Koppen by snapping the ball when Cassel wasnt ready and killing that drive.

This week was Dustin Keller's coming out party as he has put together back to back great games. Favre made all the throws he needed to make.

Bad call on Vrabel on the Jets go ahead TD drive but we have seen the Pats get numerous calls over the years.

This was a huge win for this franchise as a whole. They needed ti beat the Pats. They needed to beat the Pats this year while they had Brett Favre and the Pats were without Brady. This season wouldnt have felt as good even if they made the playoffs if they didnt beat the Pats. You could almost feel that story being told as this game was going on. This is a win the Jets really can build off of as they are now 7-3 and playing really good football.

LOL Jets' fans enjoy this ride with Favre while you can, b/c he eventually is going to cost the team an important game, its inevitable LOL sorry 16 yrs of experience talking here. I am rooting for the Jets i really am, the better the Jets do the better the pick for Favre becomes, but just letting you know, this past thursday and this sunday vs the Titans is the kind of games you brought Brett Favre into win, and he won ALOT of big games for the Packers but he also go the Pack in trouble in alot of those games, I would not be surprised if Favre "costs" the Jets the game in some way this Sunday, I really hope i am wrong, but i've just seen it alot with Favre thats all.

These are the games Favre was brought in here to win and he won one of them. This game against the Titans is important but its not as big as the Patriot game was. Maybe he will cost the Jets a big game down the stretch and maybe he wont.
