I agree somewhat. Scott Linehan has always been a very horrible coach, whether that be as a head coach, coordinator, etc.
But remember, this has only been 2 games, one against a very uninspired Dallas team. History has shown that interim coaches have never turned teams around, possibly because the talent on those teams just weren't good enough, however no interim coach has ever made a quick fix and brought there team to the playoffs.
Again, not saying it can't happen, however I just don't know that firing a coach midseason is the best decision to make. The offseason is a much better time to make a coaching change, as you will then have ample time to make the right decision on a replacement and will give that coach enough time to install his philosophy and playbook.
