I dont care. Pacman hasnt earned the right to ever justify putting his hands on another human being after the stuff he has done. I think we all knew it was just a matter of time. He's a thug. Nothing else to say I guess. I hope Goodell steps in and does the Cowboys work for them.
The Cowboys in recent years have really shown you a lot about themselves and the type of characters they have in that lockeroom. There soft players. There all very very talented but they have no mental toughness. They all start blaming each other when they start to lose and they complain. The class of the NFC and the NFC East wheres Blue. They dont have a star on their helmet.

Really? The Giants don't have a reputation of blaming everyone around them? Last season was the first time in five years they could claim that and Plax ain't no saint. Don't even try to sell him as team oriented.
The Cowboys have a high success rate of taking players with character issues and turning it around for them. It's been that way for a decade now. They have a program in place that everyone in the NFL, including the Giants, are trying emulate. No team is having the same success because they don't have the quality individual that is Calvin Hill.
What problems are coming from Dallas' locker room? T.O. spoke his mind. That didn't seem to hurt the chemistry between him and Romo the following week. It took me becoming a part of the media to see how unfair the media is to T.O. now. He can't sneeze without it being broadcast. He definitely did that to himself with his actions over the year. However, he makes an expressionless face during a game and Joe Buck says he's pouting. What he said to the media was unnecessary and very untimely. He had just played a game in which he was thrown to too much. His speaking up like that hasn't exactly killed that team either.
The Giants are the class of playing the NFL's worst teams and winning. That's all. Want to bring up Dallas struggling with Cincy? The G-men had a tougher challenge from the Bengals. They beat Washington? Anyone who watched that game saw the worst coaching job in the history of football by Jim Zorn, who learned quickly on the job.
Now, I'm not saying Dallas is the class of the NFC East right now either. It's Washington. What the Skins have done is more impressive than Dallas or New York to this point.
Plax's suspension had a lot more to do than with just missing practices. He's been fined how many times over the past few years by the Giants? How many of those fines weren't made public and were just revealed? Sounds like he was getting a lot of free passes to me. Funny you aren't slamming the Giants, though. Fact is Plax didn't receive repercussions from his team for almost everything he's done. At least, not the public kind you're talking about.
Now that said, we don't know if Dallas is fining Pacman or not. They might be. They might be taking care of it in house. Not everything has to be made public. The Giants showed that with Plax. I have no issue with how Dallas is handling Pacman. Next issue, does anyone know why Pacman punched the guy? That's not being released. There isn't just one bodyguard employed by Dallas for this situation and Pacman isn't the only player they're watching. That bodyguard wasn't hired just for Pacman. He's hired for the entire football team. This guy happens to be assigned to Pacman, but there are also several others with the same job. It's something that is alternated.
Don't be naive and believe every NFL team doesn't supply bodyguards for its players.
The fight is said to ensue after Pacman and several other Cowboys attended a private party. The bodyguard and Pacman were taking verbal jabs at each other. Someone took it too personally and a scuffle ensued. Was alcohol involved? Maybe. I'm sure a lot of football players partake in their share of alcohol during the season in the NFL. Wonder how many of Plax's domestic disputes handled by the police were alcohol related?
Was it a bad decision? Yeah. One that could have been made by a lot of other players. It's high profile because it's Pacman. That's the only reason why.
Someone is going to say that Pacman should act like a grown man. Sadly, he's acting like a lot of grown men in this society. I'm sure what happened to Pacman and the bodyguard has happened to someone you know or will happen to someone you know in the near future. It happens to almost every guy at some point and time. If it hasn't happened to you, then you simply haven't lived long enough.
Don't be naive to believe players don't get away with offenses like this one Pacman is getting away with on a weekly basis in the NFL. Their should be consequences and the offense should be what determines how heavy they are. Having what is being called a scuffle does not demand a suspension, no matter who the person is. Neither man has any marks from the altercation. Nobody went to the hospital. No charges are being pressed. Scuffles occur between even the closest of friends and that's exactly the type of ordeal this sounds like. Don't you think if this was really that bad the bodyguard would be reassigned? He's not.
Your hypocrisy runs ramped with this post. You're calling the Giants a stand up organization because they punish Plax publicly and suspend him for one game. Yet you ignore the fact they let him off without such suspensions a rumored 40 to 50 times? And how many times have the police been called to his house for domestic disturbances? And his attitude about the suspension was pretty terrific too huh? Sounds like the Giants have plenty of their own problems right now and sounds like they're letting one player have the same impact that it takes T.O. and Pacman to have on the Cowboys.
