Default Matt Jones Arrested For Cocaine

From espn.com

"A police report said officers approached the car and found Jones inside, using a credit card to chop up a white substance. Police said an officer drew his handgun after Jones did not immediately show his hands.

Police said they found a jar with possible marijuana residue inside the car and a plastic bag of what was likely cocaine. Officers say Jones admitted he had cocaine."

Well if this is an ongoing problem with him and not an isolated incident it would help explain why he hasn't developed as a Wide Receiver. Hard to catch a ball when you're strung out of your mind

You would think if this was an ongoing problem though some of his teammates or someone would have noticed.

I hope this helps the Jaguars get rid of this bum. They have more talented guys than Jones that could have gotten cut. I never want to see another stupid lob to the corner of the end zone for Matt Jones to drop.

Really? Like no NFL players have secret troubles or bad habits?

Bum, indeed. Although, the recent Jerry Porter injury puts another dent in the Jags' WR corps. I like Porter in Jax and think he'll have a big yardage year, while Reggie Williams hits double digits in TDs again. That is if Porter is healthy.

I think Mike Walker could pick up the slack for right now. If his knee is healthy, he should be a very good contributor.

BTW, Porter should be back for the regular season opener.

That turned out to be a terrible year for drafting receivers.
