Neither guy is a No. 1. I'd take Curtis because of his speed and ability to get open. He's a WR much in the sense of Wes Welker. What's wrong with just being a slot receiver? That's where he's best suited, but he proved this season that he can do more when called upon. Cotchery weighs 20 more pounds than Curtis. They're the same height. The biggest difference to me is touchdowns. Curtis has 18. Cotchery has 8. Curtis shows the ability to get more separation from DBs and make big plays to score. Cotchery doesn't have that ability. If either guy is your No. 1 receiver, then you better have a great QB or else your WR corps is crap.
