Default Superbowl Talk

New York Giants vs. New England Patriots.

I'm happy the Giants pulled that game out, they outplayed the Packers the whole game. As for the Patriots game, it was close, but I actually felt the Chargers deserved that one. Their defense played phenomenal for most of the game, and the offense did a nice job too except for in the redzone. I truly believe if LT had been playing and had they been a lil more aggressive in the redzone, we'd be watching a SD vs. NYG superbowl.

So now the question will be asked, can the Giants beat the Pats? Well i really doubt it. I think it's possible, but when it comes to Tom Brady and big games, its hard to see him losing. I would love to see it, the Pats make it undefeated all the way to the Superbowl, and then get their one loss in it, but I just don't think thats likely

I'm not sure yet if I'm even going to watch. I just have no interest in either of these teams.

Even if it had been GB vs. NE I would have watched and those are my 2 least favorite teams. I don't know how any football fan can not watch the Superbowl just cause they don't like the teams in it

I probably won't watch it. The game is already over as far as I am concerned.. The Pats are going to win and I'd bet my life on it. I think a lot of people aren't going to watch the game. It'll be a good day for me to golf because it won't be crouded.

I think the Giants will have a hard time beating New England. I think any team to have ever played the game would've had a hard time beating New England. Really Dallas and Chicago comes to mind as the only ones.

If it's as entertaining as the first game then I think we're in for a great Super Bowl.

If anything is worth watching, it's the commercials. I do however think the Giants have a better shot then people think. Eli has been playing really good lately, and all it takes, is to be on a hot streak (i.e. Ben Rothlesburger and the Steelers). They are on that role, and I think they could beat them. It should be a good game, I'm not sure why you wouldn't want to watch it. Could be a game for a lifetime.

I'll be rooting for the NFC East in the Super Bowl. As much as I hate the Giants, I gotta say, I hate the Pats just a little bit more.

A ton of people will be watching. I expect this to be one of the most watched Super Bowls in history.

A) The Pats are going for history.

B) You're talking about the New York market coupled with the Boston market. All of the New England area will be tuned in. Fox's heads were doing cartwheels after the Giants won.

It's tough for me. I'm cheering for the Giants and I hate that fact. The Pats have proven they are one of the most hated teams in the history of all sports in my mind. I want the Giants to crush and humiliate them, snatching history right from under their feet. I hope Bellichick is embarrassed to the point of retirement.

I will watch the Superbowl b/c its the super bowl, but its one of the superbowls i will go to the bar to watch this one just b/c well i am over 21 and can go to the bar and if i happen to drink a lil to much and miss some of the game it wouldn;t bother me this year. And no its not b/c the PAckers lost the deserved to lose that game, It's just a game i have already seen and i think it will be like most of the NE games we've seen the last 2 months the Giants will be right in or winning the game until the 4th quarter and NE will take over and win the game. However=, i do think wit ha healthy LT and Phil Rivers the Chargers beat the Pats last week by 2 scores the chargers D was playing great, but their beat up O couldn;t get the ball in the endzone, and if anyone thinks the PAts are going undefeated again next year can dream on b/c they will have to play the Chargers again next year and SD will not lose to the Pats 3 times in a row
