Default Graham Signs with...?

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2790143

Denver didnt want to get beat out again by Seattle, so today they stepped up the offer and grabed TE Daniel Graham.

I could go either way on this. Tony Scheffler was our second round pick and looked to be the guy Cutler looked to on 3rd down and red zone plays. So part of me thinks Denver could have spent it elsewhere possibly.

However, Graham is a great player and Im sure he'll be a good player for the Broncos.

I was just about to post this lol.

They really are giving Cutler the best possible chance to succeed. Travis Henry/Mike Bell, Javon Walker, Graham, Brandon Marshall, Rod Smith. Lots of weapons

I guess Grahm felt he was under utilized in the passing game... everybody thinks "great blockign TE" when the name Dan Grahm comes up, which he is. But I agree with him. I remember watching him at Colorado when they won the Big 12, he made many 3rd down catches, and in the Playoffs he made some great catches. Im liking the Broncos offseason so far. Now they are in a good spot to get Reggie Nelson or Jarvais Moss.

Exactly my thouhts. Safety Reggie Nelson is an outside shot too, but judging by how hard they went after Kerney, DE will probably be their choice.

Wow, pretty hefty contract for Graham. However, I like the signing. Graham and Scheffler make a great 2 TE combo. Not only is Graham a factor in the passing game, he'll help out Henry/Bell in the running game.
I love what the Broncos have done all off-season, now they just need Bly to warm up to playin in Denver, and get a backup QB just in case.

Yea a ton...Graham will slide right in to the spot previously held by Stephen Alexander. HaHa and if you ask me, Graham is a major upgrade there.

The pieces are in place in Denver. If Cutler is a bust it'll be a major blow to the franchise. If he can thrive I honestly think this team has the ability to make a playoff run this year.

Geesh, I gotta say. You thought the AFC was better than the NFC this year. Next year they are just gonna totally dominate the NFC. Broncos, Pats, Colts, Chargers, Jets, hell.. even Tennessee IMO. But I like where the niners are going in the NFC west
