Default Pats get Wes Walker for the 60th pick.

Maybe a little much for for Wes Walker, but he is the closest white person to Reggie Bush in the NFL. I thought they could grab a LB with that spot such as maybe Buster Davis, Abbotte, or H.B. Blades. WR would have been there too with Steve Smith and Audrae Allison. The Dolphins are really cleaing house now. Plus the best players on defense are old. Good deal for Miami.

I think it was an equal trade. The Pats get a proven WR, KR and PR, while the Dolphins can get someone with maybe more potential.

Well, I still like the Randy Moss to NE talks. Could be interesting.

Wow. Walkers contract is huge! Why didn't they just resign Branch last season?

Welker is an awesome player though. He really fits the mold as a Bellichick type of player. He has very high character and is a hard worker willing to do whatever he has to do to get on the field. I remember watching him play at Texas Tech. He actually ripped out my sister's belly button ring while dancing with her at a Willie Nelson concert. I always wondered what kind of dancing they were doing for him to rip out her belly button ring. She says swing dancing...I've always had other suspicions.

Considering Belichek has already said he's 'enamored' with Moss, I think you might be mistaken.

or espn.com

Bill Belichick has been known to take chances on guys in the past. Moss isn't the near locker room cancer as say Terrell Owens. He has his baggage but so did Corey Dillon. Every coach has an ego and every coach thinks they can get the best out of every player in the league. If any coach can get the best out of Moss it's Belichick and the best out of Moss plus Brady would be hard to stop.
