Prett good rankings. Kerry Rhodes should be in the top 5 for safties in my opinion over maybe Polomalu.
I would put Vilma in the top 5 for ILB over Zach Thomas, Demeco Ryans, and Mike Peterson

Is this strictly based off of production? or are system, team impact and actual talent included in your rankings?

Terrance Newman should be in the CB top 5. DeAngelo Hall is terribly overrated. He was horrid this season. I think Samuel is a system guy. He'll make a huge mistake if he leaves NE. His production will slip greatly. Newman is #2 to me. He was the only bright spot in the Dallas secondary this season and that includes Roy Williams.

I would also still put Shaun Alexander in the top 5 for RB's.

You know what, i completely forgot about Vilma, i planned to have him #3, and when i got to making the list he just slipped my mind, edited in now
And if Kerry Rhodes has the same production next season as he did this season, he'll crack the top 5, probably even the top 3.

a little bit of all of those, and a little bit of personal preference.

i had Terrance Newman ranked @ #6, just barely beat out by McAlister. And i agree that he was the only bright spot in their secondary, Roy Williams is one of the most overrated players in the NFL.
Although i don't agree with Hall being overrated, I really like him, and think with in a couple of years he could be up there with Champ. Samuel might be a system guy, but hes only been in that system, so until he leaves, hes going to be that high in my mind

How is hall not overrated? What did he do this year that would make him top 5 quality?

In that case your offensive side, IMO is not great. Although, in response to Kev, Shaun Alexander is not even a top 10 runningback. He is a one dimensional oddball in a system which fits nothing but his running style. He is a detriment to the Seahawks.
Here are my offensive changes.

1. Peyton Manning
2. Tom Brady
3. Drew Brees
4. Carson Palmer

Shaun Alexnader is definitley a top 10 RB and is probably a top 5 as well. Who cares if you think he is a system guy because it is based off of production.
