AP Sources: Jets acquire QB O'Connell from Lions (AP)

The New York Jets acquired quarterback Kevin O'Connell from the Detroit Lions on Sunday, two people familiar with the deal told The Associated Press. The two people requested anonymity because neither team had announced the deal. It wasn't immediately clear what the Lions received for the former New England Patriots backup.
