Default Draft order wrong?

I know there's been debates on if the order changes in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, but I just watched an interview with Denny Green and he was naming off their draft picks saying "we're picking number 10, number 42 and number 74". That would mean 32 picks later each time. I don't think the order changes each round. I would assume that a head football coach in the NFL would know what he's talking about. Although, when I looked at last years order, the picks did change the way we have it.

It seems like the head coach should know, but I think he's wrong.... I had all sorts of people emailing telling me that the order was wrong when I had it as just 32 picks apart. There is nothing on NFL.com that says what they do in the second round. So I can only base it on last years draft, what people have been emailing and what Scott Wright has for the second round. I'd love to get an official report on how the draft order is made, but I can't find one.

Default The order of the draft for each RD

http://www.draftboardinsider.com/res...order/1st.html

However I do not think thye have changed the draft positions of teams that have been involved in trades.

2nd Miami to the Vikes

6th Jets to Washington

The order is the same top down for each RD unless picks are involved in trades, and I think Compensation picks are rewarded to teams that lose Restricted FA's

They can't be right. Look at the draft last year.

Link to draft.

Default What do you mean?

It looks right to me even by looking at last years draft.

The teams with the worst records are at the top in every RD and the teams with the best are at the bottom.

For the first 32 picks in each RD the order is the same as the 1st RD unless draft picks are traded.

starting in the third RD additional Compensatory Picks are added to the RD. As you can see in RD three last year their were 37 picks, w the last 5 being compensatory picks. In RD 4 their were 3 additional picks, RD 5, 6 additional picks, RD 6, 8 additional picks, RD 7 their was 9 additional picks.

How are they the same????
Last years draft went as follows:

R1-------------------------R2
1 SF 2-14-------------------SF 2-14
2 Mia 4-12------------------Cle
3 Cle 4-12------------------Phi
4 Chi 5-11------------------TB
5 TB 5-11-------------------Det from Ten
6 Ten 5-11------------------Oak
7 Min from Oak 5-11-------Chi
8 Ari 6-10-------------------NO from Was
9 Was 6-10-----------------Ten from Det
10 Det 6-10-----------------Dal
11 Dal 6-10-----------------NYG
12 SD from NYG 6-10------Ari

Teams in the same winning percentage tier move up one spot in the following round except for the team who picks first (in that tier), they go last in the following round (of that tier). The only teams that stay in the same spot are ones who have a unique record like SF who was the only team to go 2-14.

It is still by winning percentage in each RD

The reason why the other teams moved up was because Miami must have traded their 2nd pick at some point. That is why the other teams below them moved up. Same as Philly being that high in the 2nd they had to of aquired that pick at some point before the draft.

For all RD's it is based on winning perentage. UNLESS TRADES HAVE TAKEN PLACE.

If you scroll down the list you can see the records getting better. The reason why Pittsburgh is not last is explained in the link I sent.

The superbowl winning team always drafts last, the runner up drafts second to last, then from there it is based on winning percentage for each team.
