Default The BEST 2006 mock draft to date!!!

1. Houston Texans - Bush, Reggie, RB USC | Most explosive player maybe to ever come out of college.... obvious pick.

2. New Orleans Saints - Leinart, Matt, QB USC | The Saints are in need of legitimate starting QB and they get that with the most complete QB in the draft.

3. Tennessee Titans - Cutler, Jay, QB Vanderbilt | McNair's getting old and this guy Cutler's got an arm like no other. He will sit under the wings for a year and be the starter in 07.

4. New York Jets - White, LenDale, RB USC | Jets need a starting RB as Martin is getting old and they need to take some pressure off whoever the starting QB is gonna be otherwise it will be a longer year than it already is gonna be.

5. Green Bay Packers - Williams, Mario, DE North Carolina St | Best DE to come out since Peppers and Packs need some kind of dominant force on D.

6. San Francisco 49ers - Ferguson, D'Brickashaw, OT Virginia | Obvious pick if he is still on the board. Best OT to come out in years and Smith desperately needs help if he is ever gonna make in the league.

7. Oakland Raiders - Young, Vincent, QB Texas | This guy is a playmaker and thats just what the Raiders need on offense.

8. Buffalo Bills - Davis, Vernon, TE Maryland | I know a lot of people would choose Ngata but there offense was terrible last year and this guy would be a great start in the right direction.

9. Detroit Lions - Hawk, A.J., OLB Ohio St. | Best LB in the draft and Lions can use him like Seau was in San Diego.

10. Arizona Cardinals - Williams, DeAngelo, RB Memphis | Arrington sure isnt the answer. This guy will make plays... bottom line.

11. St. Louis Rams - Huff, Michael, S Texas | Best CB/Safety in draft and is a playmaker on the defense side of the ball.

12. Cleveland Browns - Ngata, Haloti, DT Oregon | Browns take wut may turn out to be the most dominant defensive player to come out of this years draft when it is all said and done. GREAT PLAYER!

13. Baltimore Ravens - Williams, Jimmy, CB Virginia Tech | Not so high on this guy but he can make plays and is big and physical so the Ravens take Williams to team up with McCallister and make a decent secendary.... except for Reed who is GREAT.

14. Philadelphia Eagles - Jackson, Chad, WR Florida | In my opinion best WR in draft especially with that 4.32 40. This guy is young and has a lot to learn. He has all the tools to have a T.O. type inmpact in 5 years without all the headache. This would be a great pick.

15. Atlanta Falcons - Holmes, Santonio, WR Ohio St. | Falcons need a WR to help with Mike Vick's progress. Holmes has the pottential to be a viable #1 option in this league and team him up with Crumpler, Dunn and Vick and wow that is a pretty damn explosive offense if you ask me.

16. Miami Dolphins - Greenway, Chad, OLB Iowa | Great athlete but not sure if he will turn out to be a great in the NFL. Dolphins take Greenway because of his huge upside.

17. Minnesota Vikings - Lawson, Manny, DE North Carolina St.| Vikes take a solid DE who can excell in pass protection and who is physicall enough to play the run and blitz very well.... which is what they need!

18. Dallas Cowboys - Justice, Winston, OT USC | Bledsoe needs protection and the Cowboys take an OT with incedible talent for his size and has the potential to be a multiple Pro Bowl player.

19. San Diego Chargers - Whitner, Donte, S Ohio St. | Best Safety in the draft not named Huff and maybe more physical than Huff. This guy's got heart and will bring the heat which the Chargers have needed ever since that damn AJ Smith guy got ride of Harrison... that guy is just dumb.

20. Kansas City Chiefs - Simpson, Ko, S South Carolina | Playmaker. Playmaker. Playmaker. That's all that needs to be said about this guy. He's a ball hawk and in 3 years he will be leading the league in interceptions.

21. New England Patriots - Cromartie, Antonio, CB Florida St | Great talent and may end up bein the best CB in the draft. Great size and could end up being defensive rookie of the year by the end of the year.

22. Denver Broncos - Pope, Leonard, TE Georgia | Broncos need a TE and Pope if not for Davis would be the best tight end in the draft. Great pick for them as they give Plumber another option to help that already solid offense.

23. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - McNeill, Marcus, OT Auburn | This guy is just HUGE. I dont even know if Sims could throw over him but the Bucs will take a chance and hope he turns out to be the physical force he has the potential to become.

24. Cincinnati Bengals - Bing, Darnell, S USC | Physical speciman with good but not great speed who will knock you out. If he stays healthy you will see this guy in the Pro Bowl and will be watchen him laying out someone on Sportcenter's Jacked Up.

25. New York Giants - Allen, Jason, S Tennessee | Maybe wouldve been the best safety in the draft if he didnt get hurt and his combine didnt do him bad either. Great pick.

26. Chicago Bears - Moss, Sinorice, WR Miami (FL) | This guy is as EXPLOSIVE as they come. The bears need some kind of spark on that O and this guy could be the answer.

27. Carolina Panthers - Lewis, Marcedes, TE UCLA | Good solid TE who can make plays in the passing game. Panthers could really use a guy like that.

28. Jacksonville Jaguars - Hill, Tye, CB Clemson | FAST.... FAST.... FAST.... FAST.... Has the potential to be a so called shut down corner but not sure if he can take on the big physical recievers and stand up to RBs. We will soon find out, has great potential though.

29. Denver Broncos - Hali, Tamba, DE Penn State| Broncos take one of the top DE in Hali who has a lot of upside.

30. Indianapolis Colts - Maroney, Laurence, RB Minnesota | Colts lose James and bring in Maroney and in year or two he will have almost if not the same effect that James had and they will make it to the playoffs as the favorites to win the Super Bowl...................................... and lose AGAIN!

31. Seattle Seahawks - Bunkley, Brodrick, DT Florida St. | This guy is riped for a 300 pounder and would beef up that already solid D-Line.

32. Pittsburgh Steelers - Mangold, Nick, C Ohio St. | Best center in draft fills in right away for the starting cinter spot and will be there for 8+ years.

Not bad for Tampa, but they probably won't pass Spencer, Griffen, or Stoval at 59.

The Anthony Smith pick was awful when they could land a guy like Daniel Bullocks. He had the positions just not the player.

It's a terrible mock....I hate to be rude, but it's pretty bad...like I said in the other forum...I stopped reading once I saw Vince out of the top 10.

Minnesota isnt taking another DE, that would be the 3rd straight year. They are either thinking LB or RB in the first round.
