10 Teams, 1st pick
1st pick then snaked back so I then had 20, 21.....
10 Teams - Start 2QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1RB/WR/TE, 1TE, 1K, Def
PaTD 4, PaYD 1 pt every 10 yds, PaInt -2, ReTD 6, ReYd 1pt every 10 + 2pt @ 100yds, RuTD 6, RuYd (same as Rec). FG 3, XP 1.
QB: Eli Manning, Jason Campbell
RB: LT, Julius Jones, Rudi Johnson
WR: Marvin Harrison, Marques Colston, Bernard Berrian
TE: Jeremy Shockey
K: Nate Keading
DEF: Pittsburgh
Bench:
QB: Josh McCown
RB: Chris Brown, Correll Buckhalter, TJ Duckett
WR: Jerricho Cotchery, DJ Hackett, Greg Jennings
TE: LJ Smith
K: Jeff Reed
-I know I am light on QBs, but they were taken very early so I tried to stack RB & WR. Any thoughts as how good I might do and who might I look to get rid of for a reliable QB. Maybe I'll just ride out with LT to score me the points!!!

yeah at QB you're hurtin... could use some better RB depth... WRs arent that bad though... start Hackett over Berrian this week though... also drop Reed and get some more depth then try to make a trade for a better QB

LT and Rudi???
How did you get rudi j on the flip--I have no idea! You're in a ten team league?? He got picked 7th in ours. Eli is pathetic-- had him last year barely broke 200 yds most games 1 or 2 TD's and T arber is gone. J Campbell might be your best. Would scout waiver wire once season starts. Take a flyer on whoever puts up good numbers and ride out campbell. Harrison solid stud others shaky.
I had 5th pick rate my team
QB Romo, Favre (no int penalty)
RB Addai, Benson, F taylor, Betts
WR TO, Boldin, Driver, Brandon Marshall
TE Cooley, who cares? (actually Pollard)
K Kaeding, who cares again? (actually J Brown)
D Minn, Buff

I agree with Big Game drop Reed there is no reason to have two kickers unless it's in your league rules.

I was lucky with Rudi (21st pick), since there was a big rush on QBs, which I thought I'd keep going for RB/WR...but that probably hurt me. However, if McCowen plays like today; I might sub him for Campbell!! I think there are a lot of sleepers this year that haven't beenn metioned, but only time will tell...this is the first week.
Thanks for all your input. This is only my 2nd year in FF, so i've only followed a few teams/players.

Don't get excited over McCown because he faced the lions. Also Eli played like a beast yesterday, and it definitely did not look like a fluke, yea he had one or two bad throws but some of them were not his fault, for not having Jacobs he did excellent.

Should've gambled by starting McCown yesterday, he would have given me 21 pts, rather than the 9 from Campbell.
But I am still sitting pretty for tonight....go RUDI!
