Default UPDATED PICKS...

as of 04-09-06

i am much more confident on whom denver is eyeing with their picks......

1a) Chad Jackson, WR, Florida....i am very sure about this pick....i am very excited about what type of player jackson will be.....him and lelie could be monsters at WR....Lelie would be the speedster and jackson the possesion type of guy, like Rod Smith is now

1b) Kameron Wimberly, DE, Florida State.....Pryce is gone and an impact player that didnt play for the Browns with speed is needed....Kimberly plays the run much better then Hali which is why the Broncos would more than likely take Wimberly...however, if he is gone, then i think Hali is the pick...dont rule of RB either...if Denver doesnt like any DE still on the board then RB or possibly S will be the pick...

2) Anthony Fasno, TE, Notre Dame.....Putzier is gone and Fasno is a good recieving TE and a decent blocker....may play well in a rotation becasue Denver still has Stephen Alexander

3) (traded to Atlanta.....)

4a-from Washington-) Gerald Riggs, RB, Tennessee....one of my favorite players in the draft....big and physical and would replace the type of runner that Anderson was....would compete with dayne for the second spot.....does have injury problems...however, has a 4.52 40 time, which is much faster then that of Dayne......Riggs hits the hole harder and faster then what dayne does

4b) Calvin Lowery, SS, Penn State.......has big game experience and will be a good backup....he will take the spot that Chris Young had on the team last year.....will prolly get some playing time

4c-compensation-) Mike Kudla, DT, Ohio State.......very strong and can definatley move o-lineman back.....doesnt need to create pressure but just stuff the run....like his team-mate gerard warren

5) Darnell Hunter, CB, Miami (OH).......lenny walls was cut and a CB needs to be brought in to compete with karl paymah for the dime position.....hunter has played against NFL talent when facing the QB's in the MAC, though there not as good in the rececnt past....

6) Rashad Butler, OT, Miami (FL)......very atheltic and agile....moves quickly on his feet....would work well with his team-mate who denver drafted last year OG Chris Myers.......

7) (traded to Carolina.....)

UPDATED: only changed the #22 pick and the second round pick...all positions are still the same...

very true.....but either Mercedes Lewis, Anthony Fasno, or Joe Klopenstien will be avialable......dont forget about Tim Day...he will definately be there and he is very under-rated as a receiving TE....
