RT - I'm not a Flozell guy, but he was missed when he wasn't in there. I yell at him all the time during games though because of missed blocks and penalties. The RT position was horrid. I had a post where I went through all the guys that beat up Petitti. It was a big list. Targets: Marcus McNeill, Winston Justice, Ryan O'Callaghan, Jeremy Trueblood
FS - Davis is a great special teams player and a great run plugger, but I got tired of seeing the Cowboys beat deep because they have no one helping over the top. Targets: Ko Simpson, Antonio Cromartie, Donte Whitner, Daniel Bullocks
ILB - Losing Nguyen hurts the most because of the energy and heart that we lose on the field. He was my favorite Aggie of all time and just about the only one that I cheer for as well. Targets: Kai Parham, Freddie Roach, Oliver Hoyte
NT - I think this is a real need for the 'Boys and one that they'll consider addressing in the 1st round. Ferguson is older and Glover doesn't fit the 3-4 scheme. They should let Glover move on. Maybe trade him for a 3rd round pick. Parcells likes a rotation on the DL so another NT makes sense. Targets: Gabe Watson, Titus Adams, Domata Peko, Montavius Stanley (if he can get healthy again)
K - Yes, don't forget we need a kicker. Now we won't be addressing this one in the draft (I hope)! There aren't any draft worthy kickers. If only Mason Crosby had come out! Oh how good would he look with a star on his helmet!!! The best situation would be for the Cowboys to somehow swoon Vinatieri, who is a free agent, away from New England. I doubt that will happen though.
WR - I don't think this is as big of a need as others. Glenn and Johnson have at least 2 years left each and Patrick Crayton really came on strong. Now if they addressed it in the 3rd or 4th round then I wouldn't mind. Crayton appears to be Glenn's successor so the Cowboys need to draft Keyshawn's successor. Targets: Jason Avant, Martin Nance, Hank Baskett, Mike Hass
QB - I like Bledsoe. I think he's great in Parcells' system and would've been better if the protection had been better. I know he isn't mobile, but the guy is strong and durable. We need someone that shows some promise. I really wish that Henson was that guy. I hope he can figure this all out. In case he doesn't we should draft another QB in the later rounds to push Romo and Henson. Targets: Paul Pinegar, Bruce Gradkowski, Josh Betts, Drew Olson
OC: I think we need a center who can push Johnson. I see Gurode moving back out to RG where he had some good starts at the end of the season filling in for Rivera. Targets: Jason Spitz (I really like him because he could play guard and fill in for the older Allen and Rivera at some point if needed), Donovan Raiola, Michael Degory, Grayling Love
I don't see a need for TE. Campbell is one of the Cowboys' priorities to resign because Parcells' loves him as the blocking TE. Campbell loves Dallas as well. Witten had a great year especially considering how often he was kept in to max protect. He's such a great athlete too. I was really impressed by his athleticism at the Pro Bowl skill competitions.
