Default Texans 2006 draft

I think the Texans have done the best in terms of drafting good players. Thats a good start to making a great team.

I picked a lot of people uve probably heard of but i also picked in order of importance

Texans 2006 draft
1.D'Brickashaw Ferguson OT/Virginia-this pick is common sense.
2.Mark Setterstorm OG/Minnesota-drafting back to back O-Lineman is rare but they have 3 or 4 weak spots on their line. teamed up with eslinger to pave the way for the nations best running attack.
3.Nate Salley S/Ohio ST-corners are great but the safties are weak.
4.Mike Hass WR/Oregon St-I dont really know how good he is but he's on pace for 2,000 yards receiving.
5.David Thomas TE/Texas-inconsistant but could be very solid in NFL
6.Rashon Powers-Neal FB/Notre Dame-powerful short yardage runner
7.Anwar Phillips CB/Penn ST-wreaked havoc in penn st secondary and is just as good as Zemaitis.

Another Texan that doesnt blame Carr? I never thought another one existed! I blame the O Line and don't quite understand how in 2002, we set the sack record with 76 and 3 years later, we've allowed 43 midway through the season and are on track for 96. Where in those 3 years did Capers and Casserly not understand that we needed an O Line?

Anyways, I like you draft ideas, they make sense and follow mine pretty closely. You also are very realistic in who will still be around, something I dont see too often, Don't forget however, Houston has the San Antonio Saint's 3rd rounder in 2006 as well for trading down with them. Heres how I can see the draft going hopefully.

1ST: D'Brickashaw Ferguson, OT, Virginia
2ND: Mark Setterstrom, OG, Minnesota
3RD: Tim Day, TE, Oregon
3RD: Pierre Woods, OLB, Michigan
4TH: Mike Hass, WR, Oregon St
5TH: Gerald Anderson, DT, Georgia
6TH: Quincy Butler, DB, TCU
7TH: Tweener/ Project Player

Im not sure If Hass will be there at 4th, but until people actually understand how good of a player he is, I say he'll be there. The 1st and 2nd picks of mine are self explanitory. Tim Day is a 6'5'' 270 lb TE who runs a 4.7 and can catch AND block (new concept). Pierre Woods at 3rd is there becuase he's played OLB for a while now but is more of a pass rusher, but is there in case Houston allready gave up on Babin. I chose Anderson at 5th because Houston needs more depth at DT seeing as how our DTs get injured all too often. Quincy Butler is my suprise pick, but has great size and has 5 picks so far this year and is helping lead a good TCU team. And at 7th, we'll pick another tweener like Pettway or a project like Jamal Lord.
