Default What are the expectations in Denver this yr.

With the changes in Denver this year, I would expect at least 10 W's and an AFC West division title. Any Denver fans out there? What do you expect from your team?

I can not remember the last time Denver has had a bad running back! Even though Portis seemed to be unstoppable when healthy, Shannahan either saw something he did not like or saw something even more extraordinary in Tatum Bell!! Watch for big things from him! Plummer has majic, but seems to loose it very easily. Besides that, I am ready for another great year that leads to nothing as we have forever lost our finisher in Elway.

Default Broncos will be AFC Monster this year

With the addition of Champ Bailey from the loss of Portis the defense is hot. Although the loss of Ian Gold at LB might be noticed, the pass threat will be reduced a lot. The offense might hurt a little with Sharpe and Ed gone, unless Lelie steps it up (which he did on the opener against the Chiefs). Darius Watts is one of the fastest guys I've seen in a while and will burn many if he gets the field time. Griffin will be a top 5 back in yards and TD's this year I think, and Bell is more than enough to back him up with Anderson hurt. When Plummer stops trying to fill Elway's shoes and making something happen when its not there (i.e. as many INT's as TD's) then he will be a serous threat. Stop forcing the play and take a sack (no more left handed throws please). Overall I think that the Broncos can take AFC title this year, but they won't clench the AFC West, it will be neck and neck and come down to the wire, but they will get homefield advantage in the Playoffs. Even If I'm wrong, I'm a true Blue (and Orange) Broncos fan, and will stick by them through and through - even when they don't win.
