Default Troy Hambrick Released

I guess this means Julius Jones will be the starter this year. What do your guys think of him?

I don't know much about the Notre Dame kid but knowing Parcells I do see the Cowboys picking up a veteran to bring into camp in an attempt to cover their butts at RB and to try to get some leadership in the locker room. Not sure who that might be though. Would the Jets part with Curtis Martin ?

Well, the topic is Troy Hambrick being realeased - is there anything else to say? At this point the starting RB isn't a question or concern.

i was ecstatic when he left, he was an asshole to Emmit and he just downright sucked monky balls

It just amazes me anyone ever thought of him as a starting RB - he only had good speed "for a big man" (not for a RB), he had no moves and was timid about contact - a bad trait for a big back. Even the moderately good year he had as a part time player backing up Emmitt, his only quality runs were when there was a huge hole. For a RB to be good he has to make some things happen on his own ocassionally.
